Q: what size light blubs are in the hood?
A: Hi there, thank you so much for reaching out to us, and we would be happy to look into this question for you. This model uses 12-volt, 20-watt (maximum) Halogen bulb with a G-4 base. Q: How long does the charcoal filter last?
A: We recommend replacing the charcoal filter every 6-12 months or if it is noticeably dirty or not as effective at removing smoke and odors.

Q: i just bought and both light blew out. is this normal?
A: Not sure if this an answer but mine did the same, was installed in early September 2023 and it's now mid October 2023 and both lights blew out seems like such a short time.

If the unit is not going to be vented externally, you do not need to run the duct covers to the ceiling as you won't have duct work to cover. It can be installed as shown in the product image. Q: Is is hardwired or plug? do i need a separate recirculation kit?
A: Hi! Thanks for asking. This model needs to be hardwired. More details can be found on page 9 of the installation instructions. Also, a recirculation duct is included but a charcoal filter is not. It is ok
This is ok. Works fine, looks ok. It is hard to keep it clean all the way to the top. If your kitchen is not 'open' and you dont have open/floating shelves on the sides, dont buy it. Select the other enclosed type. It is very difficult to install it. I had someone doing it for me, ended up costing me a ton to get it installed.

Hard to install Hood
Hard to install. Your wall has to be 100% leveled or the hood chimney will buckle and warp. Two installers tried for multiple hours and it is still buckling. Not their fault. Also , hard to Install between two cabinets .not a lot of room

Motor does not last more than 2 years.
Disappointed. Beautiful design; however it does not last. In less than two years the motor stop working because it is worn out and thus needs to be replaced. Parts does not last!
