Q: Are there lights orotund the knobs on the 36” range top to indicate if a burner is on or off?

A: This model is designed to fit in 36" or wider base cabinets. We recommend you review the "Cut The Countertop Opening" section on pg. 9 of the Installation Instructions.

Q: Is there a downdraft in this unit or a kit available so I can go down thru my basement?
A: Hi there - that’s a great question! This model is a Gas Rangetop, and therefore is not compatible with a Telescopic Downdraft System. Downdraft vents can be installed with most gas and electric cooktops; however, they cannot be used with rangetop cooktops or ranges. Q: How low can the simmer burners go? How are they able to maintain a simmer? Do they cycle on and off?

This cooktop maintains a temperature of approx. 140 degrees Fahrenheit while simmering. It does not cycle on and off like an electric cooktop burner does. It instead uses the inner ring of the multi-ring burner to provide a low flame. We hope this helps! Love love love my new 6 burner range top. Heats fast and cooks even. Multiple size burners, you have a burner for every type of cooking, and a very beutiful piece.

Good buy
Great addition to our newly renovated kitchen. Product is well build with high grade SST. The burners put out good BTU's that makes cooking a breeze. Installation was easy. Only feedback would be the gas connection point sticks out.
