Since 250/251 are the catridges I have been using in my MG 7520 for years, I called Canon and was told to use ONLY 250/251 in the MG 7520. The box for cyan 251 includes the following: PIXMA Series iP7220; iP8720; iX6820; MG5420; MG5520; MG5522; MG5620; MG6320; MG6420; MG6620; MG7120; MG7520; MX722; MX922
Q: Need to print in black only.do you have a only black printer?
A: Not at Best Buy. I have yet to find one. What you need is a color printer that doesn’t use colors to make the black if that makes sense. For example my workforce 1100 printer will continue to run even if the color cartridges are empty so long as black isn’t. This printer won’t do that.
A: Yes you can. Be sure to order the High yeild or XL cartridge. choose “Black and White” in your printer dialog box. You will save ink.
