I finally ditched my Canon Inkjet and made the switch to a color laser printer. It is phenomenal. I absolutely love it. Very easy setup, lighning fast, and great print quality. It is HUGE so if you have limited space you may want to consider something else.

I had been reading reviews for a color 3-in-1 laser printer with two-sided printing and two-sided scanning. I was quickly lead to the Canons and settled on the MF733Cdw. Initial setup was easy and I was printing through my Wi-Fi network. iPhones and our two laptops connected with ease. Scanning, on the other hand, was not easy. This printer will scan to email and to a computer drive. This will not scan to Google Drive. After some searching, I was led to two YouTube videos that helped me figure out scanning to a Gmail address. - Setup scan to Gmail on Canon. https://youtu.be/bLygv3E0ODY - How to enable less secure apps in Gmail. https://youtu.be/AFRqT3BR_e0 Once I watched and applied the video’s instructions, I was able to scan to Gmail from the 733.

Setting up this printer was very easy. I had no problem connecting it to my local network using either wired connection or Wi-Fi connection. It also prints super fast with great quality output.

If you're looking for a nice home printer and are willing to splurge a little bit the imageCLASS MF733Cdw is a great addition to any home computer set-up. This laser printer prints FAST, especially if you're used to inkjet printers. Finding a color laser printer can be a bit hard, and while my experience so far has yielded somewhat washed-out looking colors, overall it prints in color well. I have yet to try printing on any type of photo paper so if that is of importance to you than look around to see others' opinions on its photo printing performance. All around a solid printer.

I had trouble copying prints with light gray images. I contacted Canon directly and they helped me configure the printer. Now it is absolutely PERFECT.

Owned for 8 months. Fast printer and gets any small office job done quickly. Fax never used. Expensive cartridges. Periodically glitches with AirPrint devices and/or WiFi. Overall, great purchase!

I have had this printer for a while now and I can confidently say it’s the best I have ever owned. I used to own inkjet printers that would all inevitably break of jets would get clogged. This baby works. The WiFi function works every time and I have needed to perform zero maintenance since I have installed it. The auto feeding scanner function is also great and I am happy to say in addition to all these things it is also cat proof. My darling pet is obsessed with being queen of the printer and she has not broken anything on this one so it is also tough.

Good quality and affordable laser printing. Prints slower than some other laser printers I used.

All those “Smart” options are junk and useless because of Canon’s software, which is worst I’ve ever seen (I’m and it guy with big experience). I’m always struggling to do any job on this machine. Only thing is does OK is printing something through the internal network. Everything else is sometimes working sometimes not. Like AirPrint, on the same wifi network I’m trying to print something from the same device and it would not find the printer. Scanning function is almost useless, because you can only use it if physical device is connected (USB drive or computer). I could set up scanning option using canon’s phone app, it’s another piece of crap that never works neither I could setup scanning option to save files on my NAS through network. I wish I would have returned it before return window was closed! My advice if you don’t want waste your valuable time on a monkey job setting up this device, look for other BRANDS, not even other model of same brand, but different brand. Keep away of canon printers and multi functional devices. Software is the worst thing in their devices.

It's an excellent multifunctional, I did not really think it would be that good. Excellent for home and office. It is a good price.

I purchased this printer in March of 2019 from Best Buy and it has met all of my printing needs. Unfortunately, I have worn it out and now need to replace it. I will be replacing it with another Canon from Best Buy based on both Best Buy and Canons superior customer service and technical knowledge. I did experience a few glitches with the software during these years, however as I stated previously, Canon provided phenomenal technical support over the phone even though the printer was well past the 3 year mark. I value both companies for their superior standards which I know I can always count on.

This is a great printer for such a low price. Material quality is good. Printing is good. Many useful features normally found on a much more expensive machine. Setup was a breeze. Wireless functions great. Cost of toner cartridges is a bit high but when you figure out cost per page it isn't so bad.

Bought this item on an Early Black Friday sale for 2017...cost $279.99 plus tax. It arrived 4 days later with the poor UPS driver struggling to bring it up my angled front waywalk. The box was well packed and super easy to remove the printer with the pictographs on the box that explained how to open the packing to easily remove the printer, a big big plus on Canon for doing this. I know others say software difficult to install or poor WiFi, I experienced none of that. Printer set up in basement office with my wireless router on first floor. Printer found my WiFi SSID quickly and i inputted the password...done. Software install on Intel I7 processor laptop with windows completed in under 20 minutes. Software install on intel duo processor laptop with windows vista done in under half hour. The software suite especially the scanning software is sweet, easy to use from all my wireless laptops, tablets and phones. The NFC feature works with no issues. So far no dropped connection even after sleeping for 36 hours. Printed 50 pages in b/w and 10 in color and toners still all report 100%. The only quibble is the two sided scanning works but so far only the menu screen on printer gives you option of two sided scanning using usb drive. If scanning from printer menu to connected computer, no option listed to select two side scanning. Instead I have select it on the laptop canon scanning software...but that makes it permanent each time you scan from the printer menu to that connected laptop even if document is not two sided. You need to first go back to that laptop and deselect two sided scanning. I will call Canon after holidays to discuss how to get two sided scanning listed on the printer menu when attempting to scan to connected laptops.

I was so sick of buying ink! Every time I needed to print something, which, isn't that often, I was needing ink. I had to lay out some cash, but man, I am so glad I did. I am still using the toner that came with the purchase and I print a LOT more now. There is no quality comparison to an inkjet. And the toner lasts a LONG time. Pros: Easy to set up and use. Comes with software to scan, check toner, fax, etc. You can print from a USB memory stick. On screen display. Auto feed to copy and scan. Holds a lot of paper. Prints envelopes easily. Duplex printing (both sides without flipping manually). Cons: It is heavy. It has a larger foot print. (Takes up some room). Toner is expensive (When compared to ink purchases, you save in the long run though). I will never go back :)

So far this all in one is great. The speed is great and the quality is amazing. It’s pretty quiet, but it does beep when it is finished. Not a big deal, but the first time it happens you think it’s an error beep. I haven’t used it enough to see how long the ink lasts. It is super easy to set up, even with my Mac.

This printer wasn't on my list of top contenders because I wasn't familiar with the brand being synonymous with top home printers. However I saw a price drop on it and when I read the reviews on its reliability, ease of use, per page printing ability and more. I figured I would give it a chance. Well set up has been pretty easy so far. The features have been great and have yielded quality results on printing both color and black and white. The scanning has been good. A few features I have yet to get to but so far overall for the money it has surpassed my expectations.

You can print and scan from and on a usb memory stick directely 14-great price
