Clear and Focused with vibrant colors ! Love it ! Don't waste your time buying and trying other lens because of the cost. You get what you pay for with this lens. You defiantley need to use a tripod with this lens because it is not a IS which is fine for me. It's my go to lens for most anything. Takes sharp portraits and landscapes. The only down fall is that it is very heavy, but it does come with a nice case for easy carrying.

Love this lens. Almost never leaves my camera. Great color, clear images, and great depth of field. I also have the 1.4 teleconverter for added range.

I've owned 2 different Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lenses and they have both performed amazingly, the low light shooting is outstanding, the focus speed and quiet USM operation is 2nd to none. This lens is the most versitile I have ever owned/used, well worth the money.

Bought this for my photography business and it is by far my favorite lens. Has the clearest image with a fantastic looking bokeh effect and the auto focus option on the lens makes for an incredibly easy photo shoot! Doesn’t work too well with landscape photography but does an outstanding job with portrait and wedding photography!

A little heavy but oh so worth it. Have only used it inside for basketball games. Can't wait to get it outside this summer.

Great Lens, I use it on my 6D. Great build, but of course the only drawback is the weight. Using it handheld will take its toll after a while, but with a monopod, no problem. My second L lens purchased. You won't regret getting this lens.

At the same time as I upgraded to a 5D Mk III, I purchased this lens. I had previously rented one to use with my previous camera. I've recently started shooting volleyball. Fast motion, poor indoor lighting. This lens lets in enough light that now I am able to tweak shutter speed and ISO to get pretty much the shot I want. "Pretty much" because I'm an amateur and still have a lot to learn. The range of telephoto seems to be pretty close to perfect. From the side of the court, I can get a server completely in the picture (as long as the player is not right next to me) and from the end of the court, I can get reasonably tight into the back row defensive players on the other end (when I can get them lower than the net). Focus seems fast enough, but with a fast sport like vb, I tend to lock on to a particular player for a play and stay with her.

This lens is great! Love the clarity I get with this lens. I didn't op for the IS due to large aperture I shoot with a high shutter speed!

I've used this lens with my Canon 6D and found it works wonderfully for both portraits and sports the f 2.8 gives a wonderful background blur in portraits also help get those shutter speeds up in those low light conditions we see at most night time school sporting events while helping keep the ISO'S low I would suggest this lens to anyone that wants that little extra edge in there photography business.

I bought this to use for various types of photography from landscapes on travels to taking pictures of my kids doing "their" thing. I get great results from both, really nice having the 2.8 so i can really get the light needed from some of the events and not have to slow down shutter, speed up ISO or use flash. I am very happy with my purchase.

This year I've managed to start making money with my camera. This lens has already proved to be the best investment I've made thus far. The shots I am getting with this lens is really blowing me away. Can't put my camera down. I have already picked up 2 more paying jobs without advertising. These 2 jobs were picked up by referral / word-of-mouth. I'm a very happy customer. Should have made the purchase long ago.
