Moved up from an R6. R3 delivers as promised. No noticeable rolling shutter. Tons is customizable options for buttons. 30 frames per second is a bit of overkill for me. But 20 fps works out great. All of my EF lenses adapt perfectly. Battery life is not as long as my 1DX2 since there’s always a screen on at some point vs the optical viewfinder on my DSLR. Much less noise at high ISO than my R6.

Coming from a 5dmk4 and the upgrade is massive. Autofocus is much more accurate. It was a steep price but it’s been well worth the extra money. Works great with ef/rf adapter. I love the “thumb mouse” for auto focus. Batteries are great, I bought a second back up and I don’t ever have to worries about not having enough. (At least for stills). Cf express are a blessing, really helping in the download speeds. Check out more images with the camera @ryantfoley on instagram.

Hands down the best camera I’ve ever used in low light

Compared to my old 1d x mark II this a brilliant upgrade! A bit lighter and has already proven itself in extreme scenarios in the motorsports world with dust, dirt, mud, rain thrown at it. Ive taken 10s of thousands of photos this year alone. Really happy.

The Canon EOS R3 is indeed an impressive camera, especially for professional photographers and videographers. It’s packed with advanced features that make it stand out in the market Loving the camera so far.

I’m blown away by this camera! I own a photo/video company and this has rapidly sped up my workflow and what I can do in camera with all of the customizable buttons. This made shooting both photo and video at weddings so much easier for me especially with the photo/video switch on the camera. I find myself not picking up my R5 now unless im doing product photography. I prefer the way skin looks in my photos with this camera in comparison to the R and R5. Would highly recommend this!

Upgraded from 1Dx and what a great camera. Light and quiet, love the 30 frames per second, plus the images are crispy!

Once you shoot sports in 30fps you'll never go back. Camera is a dream to shoot. Fast, image quality is crisp, and it's everything I wanted in my first mirrorless camera. My only complaint, I wish it had two CF Express slots. I guess that'll be for the R1.

As Canon user,EOS R3, I find it to be a remarkable camera for both photography and videography. Its 24MP sensor and DIGIC X processor deliver excellent image quality, even in low light, with minimal noise up to ISO 12,800. The camera’s Eye Control AF is a game-changer, allowing me to focus precisely by just looking at the subject through the viewfinder

Great for sports photography. Lighter, faster, same if not better form factor as 1DX flagship line. Buttons are highly customizable. Has world's most advanced auto-focusing system with face detection and eye control. Calibrate the camera to autofocus on subject that eye is on. Wirelessly transfer images directly from camera to mobile, tablet or desktop. Faster time to publication.

R3 is such a great camera. I like the autofocus better than the Nikon z9. I have owned Nikon z9, d850 d500 and a canon 1dx III and be far this is the best.

Love this camera, but I still struggle with getting it to focus on the right subject in a group such as during sports. I also wish it was a higher resolution. The touch joysticks and buttons on the front are a game changer! Love the speed of shooting, but I hate going through so many files. It feels perfect, and I don’t regret getting it. It’s a great partner to my R5!

This camera is amazing! I recently upgraded from the RP and I can definitely tell the difference in the picture quality. The battery life also last a longer time too.

I finally saved enough money to purchase the R3 and the wait was more than worth it. I transitioned from the R6 MKii and could not believe to advances in the auto focus system. My first event was tennis and the tracking was spot on the whole time. The number of buttons to customize is more than enough. You can do just about anything without opening the menu to access a function or make a setting change. I know this isnt a camera for just anyone but, if you are considering it i have found the advancements and performance upgrades were worth it.

Upgraded from Canon 1DX III to the R3 and the technology is blowing me away. The ability to easily adjust the exposure in the viewfinder is amazing and the autofocus system is very good. The autofocus isn't perfect so I use 2 back buttons for autofocus with the smart controller on single point and the AE Lock button to initiate animal eye tracking. Was going to wait for the R1 but glad that I upgraded to the R3. Was surprised to find it on Best Buy.

Amazing camera but lacks some of the features for a camera at this price tag. Overall the camera has pros and cons. Pros are simple it’s quality, comes with a bigger battery and also comes with a slew of good features. Cons are for the price the R5 I feel is a superior camera, if you are focused on photography. It’s faster and shoots a better image. I returned it after a few shoots as I wanted to invest in a Alpha 1 from Sony. It’s what I would say the comparable level would be but with more pros
