Bought this to replace an aging HP, and honestly, no regrets. Setup was the first pleasant surprise. I expected the usual driver hunt and cryptic error codes — instead, the touchscreen walked me through Wi-Fi setup, my Mac found it instantly, and my phone was printing within ten minutes. That almost never happens. Print quality is excellent. Text is sharp, colors are accurate, and double-sided printing happens automatically without me flipping anything. Speed is the real story though — 35 pages a minute is no joke. Long print jobs finish before I've walked back from the kitchen. The 50-sheet ADF is what sold me, and it's even better than I expected. It scans both sides in one pass, which sounds minor until you've had to manually flip a stack of contracts on an older machine. Copies look identical to originals. The 5-inch touchscreen is responsive and lets you pin the functions you actually use to the home screen. Small thing, but I use it every day. A few honest notes: it's big and heavy, so don't plan on tucking it onto a small shelf. And while the Wi-Fi works fine, I ended up running Ethernet to it just because I had the cable handy — rock solid since. The high-capacity toner lasts a long time (7,600 black, 5,500 color), and Canon includes a 3-year warranty, which says something about how they feel about it. For a home office or small business, this thing punches well above its price. Buy it, set it up, forget about it. That's exactly what I wanted.

I’m extremely impressed with this printer. The print quality is sharp, the colors come out clean and accurate, and it handles both photos and documents with no issues. Setup was simple, the connection is reliable, and it works perfectly for my photography business. It’s fast, efficient, and definitely worth the investment. Bought as a replacement for an old Oki laser. My wife has had some terminology issues for settings, (labels vs heavy paper). It is quiet and works well. Have not tried high resolution yet. The normal print quality is good. Happy so far.

So far I love it. It has quick response time even when just being turned on. I need to figure out how to download the users manual because some things it does is really annoying and there has to be a way to set it up differently. But so far it has exceeded my expectations

I print infrequently and have this device set up as a wireless network printer. The printer enters sleep mode quickly and after a day or two of inactivity, disconnects from my network. My office is upstairs and the printer downstairs, so every time I try to print, I must go downstairs, wake it up, connect it to the network, and then try to print. So far, the most reliable device to initiate printing is my iPhone, so there's usually an additional step of emailing the document to myself or pulling it out of Dropbox. It does a good job scanning, but has yet to allow me to put a stack of documents in it and scan multiple pages with the press of a button. Instead, I must feed them one at a time. Again, I use my printer infrequently, so my frustration is sporadic, but if I was a heavy user, I would have hardwired this to one computer long ago.

This is probably a great printer. Maybe I'll never know. The setup instructions are the worst I've ever experienced. They start off fine, even though I had to physically go back and forth between the computer and the printer. When it came time to connect my wifi, I choose the easy option but it didn't work. Over and over again. The computer kept directing me to download software but the links all went to the Canon front page. Finally I was able to get a notice that the easy option doesn't work on my computer and I'd have to do it manually. Fine. I did it and it told me it worked. IT SAID IT WAS CORRECT. Then I navigated through Canon's excessively complicated support site and downloaded all 3 (yes 3!) sets of software and installed them. But my computer will not recognize my printer. It's invisible. And when I go to the printer and check wifi, it says it is not connected. But there is no way to actually set that up. That option is gone. It just says it's not connected. I'm sure I will get it to work eventually, which is why it isn't one star. But I haven't had the wherewithal to do the hours of research required to make this happen. Why can't it just work?!

The printer works well once I was able to get a second printer and finally reached out to Canon to resolve a connectivity issue. I actually had to return the initial printer because the Geek squad said that the problem was a faulty printer and that I should take it in to the store to repaired. I went to the nearest store in Greenville, NC only to be told that they didn’t service printers. So I returned the printer to the store that initially purchased it from and purchased the same printer from another store in Raleigh,NC. I had a similar issue with the second printer but reached out to Canon and they resolved the issue. My concerned that after purchasing the Geek squad service they could not resolve the issue and did not refer me to Canon. I travelled over 200 miles and spent at least 12 hours resolving this issue.

This is a great heavy duty laser printer. We had a Canon printer previous to this and used it daily for 7 years and it was still running. The new one prints 35 sheets per minute and is slightly smaller and lighter which are pluses. It also scans in faxes. It is used for my husband's business and we are really happy with our purchase! This should last us for years to come.

The installation is easy, and the printing speed is quite good. The color quality is also excellent. Since I haven’t used it for very long, I can’t give a final review yet, but so far I am very satisfied. The only downside is that the paper feed tray is too small, so I need to refill the paper frequently.

Best Buy had my back when Canon support did not. Mia at Park Meadows (SE Denver) location bedazzled me with her prompt, excellent service. This is a really cool auto duplex printer, scanner, copier etc... I finally moved away from problematic Ink Jet printers but found myself in yet another printer entanglement. I bought the MF753cdwii online and it was streaking right out of the box. Spent 4 hrs and a good deal of the starter toner troubleshooting with Canon support. They were knowledgeable and after much troubleshooting and sending of pics etc... they said they were sending a replacement. So.... Well, it arrived yesterday and... they sent my a poorly packed (in a dif copier box) and poorly secured REMAN / REFURB unit. Unbelievable that they would have THAT policy for someone with an issue for a brand spanking new unit right out of the box . The reman is headed straight back and Best Buy provided a replacement that is working fine. What a waste on shipping and everyone's time. All Canon had to do was send me a new, properly packed replacement and I would have been delighted. Instead I packed up the bad one and the Reman, drove 80 miles RT to BestBuy (who swapped me a dif unit), and shipped their reman back to them.

Only had printer for about a month. Had hiccup with connecting to home network, but now online. Have used the Canon phone app (Android) to connect and print documents from the phone - no issues. Printer prints crisp sharp documents, and is fast at it. Have scanned documents/ID cards from the glass also and images come out well.

The product is excellent, although a bit tricky to set up to get all the functions working -- you need to download software, as the plug-n-play only gives you limited functions. Happy with the purchase so far. Getting the product was challenging. Best Buy said it would come on Dec. 15th, then said that they had no idea when it would come and if it did not come by Dec. 29th they would cancel the order, then sent a message on Dec. 16th that it had arrived and I could pick it up. It would be good if Best Buy could improve their live tracking of where an ordered item is within their system (still being manufactured? at another store in-state? etc.)

If I could give this printer less than a 1, I would. It is a total piece of junk. The scan function constantly has an error code that it is busy. I have called canon and they fixed it for all of one day. In addition, when you go to scan or copy, it pulls through multiple pieces of paper. So now I will be spending another 2 hours on the phone with Canon. Who has time for this??? In addition, the settings are not intuitive. The one and only positive is the print quality which is decent. But if you leave it for longer than a day, you have to shut the entire machine down to make it print. Canon should be ashamed to put this trash on the market

Prints and copies good. Haven't been able to install it on my other computer yet. Will call Tech Support for assistance.
