Setup - Setup was relatively smooth. At one point I had to repeat a step. Start to finish took me about 40 min. The drivers and software come on a CD. I downloaded drivers directly from Canon USA support for the imageFORMULA R50 page so that I had the most up to date software for installation. I work from home and have to scan a lot of documents. So far this tackled a couple of big jobs very well (800 pages then 2,000 pages). Fast, in order, no jams. Software worked well easy for me to review as documents were scanning and direct them to save to cloud storage used by my office as we are all working remotely. Nice scanner works as well if not better than my previous Canon document scanner (lasted me 6 years) My old device is fine but Canon longer supports that model so I am unable to download updated drivers. This scanner also feels like a solid quality build the images are crisp and better than my previous scanner. I know the hardware will last hoping that Canon will support this for many years.

Purchased to scan multipage business documents (real estate contracts, lease agreements, tax documents). Scans very fast and dual-side scanning reduces overall scanning time. Wireless connection is touch-and-go but USB connection is very raliable.

Great scanner for the money. Its fast and efficient; use it for my medical business; I WISH it could do drivers licenses more reliably, its hit and miss with the licenses..successful about 50 pct of the time. If you dont scan drivers licenses its the perfect scanner
