After numerous problems connecting to various routers, and a sudden problem with my ink account (WHICH I NEVER HAD) I did not want another HP printer. At the suggestion of the sales associate (who owns this model) I decide to try this Canon model. It connects quickly to WIFI, is quiet, makes clear copies, and has had no paper jams. It is easy to change the ink cartridges and the ink seems to be lasting well. I am use to all the features of the higher end HP printer but I have found this Canon printer to have all of the features I actually utilize. It is compact and fits easily in my limited space room. In addition, the rollers and cartridge holder seems well made.

I love this printer! We paid such a great price for it and it’s so efficient, fast, and not complicated to set up or use. My favorite thing about it is that it has a small touch screen to navigate and it also doesn’t take up so much space in our home.

Overall, experience thus far has been good, the "feel" (quality) of the printer and printing activities are very good. Keeping the printer from 5 stars is the following: the paper traying loading process is a bit cumbersome, and the attractive Operations Panel has to be raised to print. This is frustrating for the appearance of the printer to look normal (as pictured) has to be comprised to use the printer. Overall, a decent purchase due to past favorable experiences with Canon printers.

My previous canon broke after 7 years of use. I got this printer to replace it and needless to say it was a breeze to set up. Under 10 minutes I had it connected to my labtop, computer, and phone. Very easy to use and set up. Step by step instruction and printed fast and efficient. Definitely would recommend it.

Just bought a new home in SC and needed a printer in a hurry before we moved our stuff in. I own two t other Canon printers at my house in NY and have a tone of ink for them. I went to BestBuy looking specifically for a printer that could use the ink I already one. This was the only one. Pros: Easy setup, great wireless printing, beautiful print quality, Cons: High price and a bit bulky!

Ease of set up was OK took a long time to get it to hook up to my computer runs pretty well not too loud quick. Downside is it just throws your paper on the ground when it’s done printing there’s no tray to catch your printed out finished copy and it always turns off and doesn’t turn on automatically when you want to print something you have to actually go to the printer and turn it back on not like the old one which was a canon would automatically turn on when you went to print which I spent less on and it did more

I love it. I use it for personal use. The clarity and picture quality is wonderful. It’s pretty user friendly and the set up was quick. We also print out photos and they look amazing…like they came from a printing store.

Easiest printer for the whole family to use, from middle school and high school to family household needs, and professional writing and business copies. Outstanding quality for projects, household records, and business/publishing.

Got this one to replace my previous canon which was a years old. Since just couple days, haven’t seen any issue yet. Set up relatively easy, the only difference is that you need to use a smart phone or computer to connect it to Internet, but once set up completed, then it can function stand along. Matte black finishing helps less scratches, so far so good!

his printer is easy to operate. It has a front screen that makes it easy. And when I ordered the ink cartridges with an individual cartridge for each color I noted that the collection was cheaper than what I had been paying for the old, cheaper printer with only one combined color cartridge. The operation is simpler and more intuitive than the old printer that was also a Canon. Glad I paid the price to get it. No tech support required. I don't like having to waking up the printer. Not as good as my old MX922.
I've been using the printer for a month now and am very happy with it. Easy to set up, love the document feeder capability and printouts our clear and crisp. 2 items to think about, I'm still searching for a remote way to turn the printer on. It shuts itself down and seemingly requires a hard start to receive wireless print commands. A bit of an issue as we live on three levels and print from all over the house - so we need to baby sit the printer to initiate a print job. Also, although functioning beautifully and I would consider great value for money - the plastic is a bit thin and flimsy in places so not a great solution if you expect your printer not to be treated with care.

Dead easy to set up and connect to WiFi and other devices. Crisp clean print quality. Fast to print or scan. Some other machines like this took forever to actually print something once the document was sent to it. Very happy so far.

I love this printer and for everyone reviewing and saying that you have to manually turn it on to use it after it sleeps you’re wrong.. there is a VERY easy solution. Click into the settings scroll down to “eco” open up the power saving options and then turn on auto power on and voula! Problem solved. Before I purchased this printer I almost didnt get it because of those reviews but they are far from the truth.. do a little more digging before writing a review

I purchased this to replace an HP Officejet that I owned for ten years. IMO, This is No Comparison to the Officejet that I replaced. I am hoping that the ink cost will be a savings. I have only had it about a month.I find that it is slow to receive print request. It turns itself off if it’s unused, therefore, I have to go to the Study to turn it on before I send to print. This may be energy efficient, but it’s a hassle for me. I air print a lot. The price was good, and it was easy to set up.

Love my new printer. Having the display/command screen on the front makes it much easier to use. I still fax. I know. Old school. But it works great
