Q: What weight paper does the TS8220 support? Strangely enough, the type or weight paper the printer accepts is not listed under specifications, as it is on every other printer description I have read. I'm wondering about using card stock.

A: Yes, it does use card stock easily.

Q: If one ink cartridge runs out, will this printer continue to print in black? I'm very frustrated with my current Brother printer which does not have this feature.

A: No. It does not have a sheet feeder. You must do one page at a time.

Q: Does this printer offer automatic duplex printing? The description says it does, but I’ve found the descriptions aren’t always true.

A: Yes, this printer does support duplex printing.

Q: does this printer work with apple phone airprint?

A: Not sure what airprint is because I am an Android guy, but my wife was able to print photos on this printer directly using her iPhone.

Q: What is typical print cartridge life and replacement costs?

A: It depends on what you are printing and how much you are printing. If your documents are B&W then your black cartridge will run out first. If you do color documents then depending on color selection, those cartridges will run out. If you are printing color photos, you will use up ink more quickly. The cost for replacement cartridges are $70+ for a full set. They do sell the cartridges separately in groups also.

Q: Does this print to DVD/CD/Blu-ray discs that have the printable surface on them?

A: Yes, you can use this printer to print on CD/DVD/Blu-ray Discs.
