Good wide angle lens and quality build. Mates nicely with R5. I tend to shoot more at wide angles than telephoto.

This is my "go-to" lens for creating YouTube videos for my channel. It's lighter, more compact and less expensive than the 15-35 F2.8. Not that that would be a bad lens but this one serves my needs just fine. Used in combination with an EOS R. My first full frame setup. Huge improvement in quality over an M50. Although, a substantial investment.

I got this lens because i wanted the L series quality but didnt want to spend the extra $$ on the 2.8 since im just a hobbyist. Paired with my eos RP i got some nice photos(at least i think so). Great for landscapes too!

The perfect lens for a perfect camera! This is a perfect option for everyday pictures and video filming. The optics are top notch! Love the ring option this lens offers so you can customize it for what you might need like ISO, aperture etc.

Love this lens. Just works for the way i shoot. Super close focus capability. Nice wide angle. F4 works for perfect for me. Weather/dust sealed !

Great wide angle lens. Very light and image stabilized. Much less expensive than the 15-35. If you don’t need f2.8 this is the answer.

Very versatile lens. Make nice addition to the 24-105mm L lens that comes with the R series cameras. Pictures are sharp and lens focuses fast and is quiet.

Excellent lens option for macro and wide angle. Cannot if it’s worth the price though. May suggest RF16mm 2.8

I usually don't review lenses as there are tons of expert reviewers on YT and other channels. The price that BB was selling the lens for was a bargin. They go from 850 to 1000. Other retail outlets are selling this same lens for about 1300 to 1400. The lens is compact and light for an ultrawide angle lens however, there are compromises. The lens has severe vignetting probably around 3-4 stops at the 14mm setting. There is very obvious barrel distortion also at 14mm. When there is distortion correction is applied in camera there is a significant change in the field on view. It almost looses 2mm focal length. I ended up selling the lens and kept my EF 16-35 IS.

This is an awesome lens. It was on sale at Best Buy and I got to use rewards money earned buying other camera geat there to save even more money!

Great lens. Works wonderfully. Excellent rendering and sharpness. Very fast autofocus. The IS allows incredibly low shutter speeds, especially wide. The shipping from Best Buy was hugely disappointing. They just stuck a thousand dollar lens in a big box, with zero padding or protection, letting it bounce around in shipping. It was incredibly careless. I would hesitate to ever buy another L lens from Best Buy again.

I know this is one of the best landscape lens out there and was looking at it for sometime. When it went on sale and had long term financing through Best Buy... no brainer. Love it.

Great lens for travel and landscape. I typically do not use it at its widest to avoid distortion. Am very happy with my purchase.
