This lens has been on my wishlist for a while now and I was able to save up and buy this beast finally. This is my go to and most versatile lens for everything. I use this with Canon R8 for photography and video during the day. However for night photography and video I use RF 35mm 1.8 that works really well at night. These two lenses are always in my backpack. The only cons of this lens is that it’s pretty heavy as compared to other lenses I have. But you get what you pay for the quality is incredible.

The perfect utility lens and will be my go to when traveling. Sharp images, legendary Canon glass, well made but rather light. If you can only bring one lens, the R24-70mm F2.8L is it.

The photo and video that can be produced with this product are amazing, I was renting this lens for a few weeks, and so happy I was able to buy it using my Best Buy Credit Card, made it so easy to buy online, pick up in store, and I have interest free for 12 months. The canon lens 24-70mm f/2.8 captures beautiful stills and footage. I would recommend this lens to anyone whom is looking for a standard lens that can offer you great pixels. The price matches the quality.

I had the 24-105 kit lens that came with my R6 ii and I knew I could get much better results with the R6 using a L series lens. The results continue to exceed my expectations. It is heavy, but the quality is worth it. Photography is just a hobby, but I saw this lens as an investment and this lens will outlast the R6,

Best lens ever. Everyone always talks about a prime lens, but realistically speaking with this lens you have a prime lens at 24, 35, 50, and 70. Insanely crisp photos and overall insanely premium feel.

As someone who has been taking pictures for years. This lens is such an upgrade from the stock lenses I have. I made the decision to go with this is as it meets the requirements i want in a lens. 24-70mm with an F2.8? Huge. I fit this lens with my mirrorless Canon R8 and it shoots beautifully. Does such a great job shooting in low light. Whether it be video of photos, it allows so much more light to the camera for better looking photos. If you're thinking about getting this lens, do not think about getting it. Get it. It is worth it. I have no used any other lens. (The bee shot was a quick flick i took but amazes me on how well an F2.8 aperture can do.)

Since I bought this lens I haven’t used anything else. Pairs really good with a eos R8 and been using it for landscape, street photography and portraits. I love this lens and recommend it.

Excellent lens, replaced my EF 24-70 with this after upgrading to the R6. I had the adapter with the newest EF 24-70 but this one is way sharper and the is complete with ibs of the R6 makes it a no brainer. I've put it to the test in 11 countries and from the freezing temps in the desert at night in Vegas to the tropical rain forest in Dominica. Hasn't let me down yet!

This lens does just about everything. It's capable of both wide angle for beautiful landscapes as well as a decent zoom for portraits, which you can see in my examples. If you're a wedding or event photographer, you're going to love this lens and you'll find it paying for itself many times over. Between the image stabalization and as low as 2.8 on the apature, it's great for low light situations.
