Beautiful rendering

This 50 is my first Canon prime and it hasn’t disappointed! In fact its got me looking at other VCM lenses. I’m very impressed with the images I’m getting with this and my R6 Mkii. There’s a lot of controversy sorrounding the VCM lineup but I think its mostly unfounded. The end result is what matters and the clarity and sharpness of this lens is unlike anything I’ve ever had with a lens. AF performace is amazing, bokeh is creamy, size/handling is perfect. I have literally no complaints.

I absolutely love this lens for portraits. It’s light and takes a beautiful and crisp image. Would purchase again and again. It hardly leaves my camer.

Wonderful lens so far. Haven’t tried any video or action yet, but that’s not my use case for this. It’s for taking pictures of my new granddaughter, and for that, it’s been excellent! Very sharp with nice bokeh.

Canon and bestbuy have done it again. I use this lens at least once a week. Im looking forward to the portrature aspect of the lens
