Out of the Box Defective – Wouldn’t Authenticate

I purchased these expecting genuine Canon ink, but every cartridge displayed an authentication error and my printer would not recognize them. This has never happened to me before, so I was very surprised. After showing Best Buy the error message, the return process was more difficult than I expected and required multiple steps before it was resolved. To be safe, I returned all of the cartridges. I recommend purchasing directly from Canon if you want to avoid potential authentication issues. Unfortunately, this was a frustrating experience from both the product and the return process.
