I love Toad, this game is so much fun, his cuteness is amazing. I definitely recommend it.

I love this game really easy to play. My son strugles through it but i like that it challenges him to think.

At first, I was a bit skeptical to grab this gem because I honestly thought it looked kind of stupid. Boy, was I wrong. The fact that you can't jump only adds to the excellent puzzle like gameplay, and there's far more content here than I first thought.

The gameplay is fairly simple at first but becomes increasingly difficult to the point where it’s nearly impossible on some levels. It feels more lacking than the new Mario VS Donkey Kong. It’s not bad but it’s not great. The graphics are fine though but the camera view is sometimes panned out too far, the main characters are a little hard to see in some instances. They’re visually a lot harder to see than Mario is. I bought the game as I had a gift certificate to use and it was expiring. For the price it’s not ridiculous but it could be cheaper as its a now 6 year old game.

This game is a fun and exciting twist to Mario games.

While some of these levels can get frustrating quickly, most of that frustration is due to controls (with the motion and function of Joy Cons, really), this is overall a fun game that has a lot of Mario nostalgia (like finding little Pixel Toad!) and really gives Toad a little more time to shine in his own adventure.

this is very fun game, read alot of negative reviews....sigh. Alot of puzzles, which is great, using the mind is great once in a while, cant be too easy with simplicity. It is an "adventure" as most of mario character games are, but i can see why its NOT for everyone, but i love this game!

While the controls are a little too complex at the moment (he's getting used to them though), finding the stars with him is a blast. I've played this game before on my wiiU and liked it so much I had to get it for the switch. Highly suggest if you enjoy fun puzzle games, definitely if you have a little gamer at home. Happy it's not the cost of a full price game either.

Easy to control and get a feel for. Starts easy but ramps up and makes you think pretty soon after starting. Runs in high resolution when played on Switch 2. Looks crisp but HDR effect is rather mild

The same great game as it was on the Wii U with some extra content. Awkward motion controls on TV/stylus-less touch controls in Handheld make it a trick to enjoy fully as intended. But it's still a fun clever little game. It looks and plays even better on Switch 2!

I originally got it when it released on the Wii U as a little boy, and now that I am quite grown up and in college with a Nintendo Switch, playing this game again really brought back a weird nostalgia and a sense of good times. It is a cute little puzzle platformer involving a Mario character that does not get the most attention, but has the most charming surprise appearances. If you are looking to experience the world of Mario from someone else's perspective, and enjoy puzzles, I highly recommend Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

I didn't think I would enjoy this but it has taken me over! I'm a puzzle head at heart and I'm So Enjoying playing this lying on my couch or in my car! Highly Recommend it!
