About this product
Johny Carlsson, a devout jazz fan, born and raised in Sweden and, since my early teens, a wannabe jazz payer. All of the jazz greats and jazz styles have a pace in he´s heart. However, ever since he first heard the great trombone payer J.J. Johnson with the Miles Davis' group and then, later on, J.J. and Kai Winding on the Jay & Kai Quintet, in the Septet and, on the eight bones recordings, the mighty sound of a trombone group paying jazz has fascinated me. In Johny´s mid-teens and early 20's he was writing music and paying the piano in small combos in Sweden. Album Tracks 1. Pat's Place 2. I Will Try Again 3. Waltzing B&S 4. Your Romance 5. Just You and I 6. Saturday 7. Tango in the Blue 8. My Lovely One 9. Easy Peasy 10. Samba De Carnaval 11. Groovin' Over Halifax 12. Laholm 13. I Will Try Again 1. Larry, The Rock 2. Shoot 3. T.G.I.F. 4. Fall 5. Swede Memories 6. Minor Stuff 7. Funky Matters 8. You Break My Heart 9. Comin' in From the Cold 10. Bossa Bone-Ita 11. Talking Turkey 12. Egg Hunt 13. When I'm Old
