Really worth the price. Have been using this for a while. No issues.

I've always liked Casio calculators, and this one is no exception. Got it to replace an old fx-250H, and it's similar enough to be familiar to use, while having a ton more features. I'm a long way from being a student; I use this for day-to-day calculations, plus the occasional heavy-duty exponents or logs for financial stuff, basic trig for planning/design geometry, that sort of thing. I love how easy it is to use - the ability to "spell out" complex equations, for example, is really cool. You basically can plug in your formulas like you would with a graphing calculator, thanks to the full dot-matrix LCD. While I'd still consider the fx-991EX (the next step up, and top of the line before you get into graphic models) for equation solving, calculus, and complex functions, this one is really good, and basically doesn't cost more than a similar four-function toy. Definitely worth it.

It does what its supposed to do. My only problem was the LCD screen was not as bright as I wanted it to be. It is sometimes a little hard to see the numbers.

This calculator is perfect for my son now that he is in High School, good size because he can put anywhere in my son's backpack, excellent help in his math classes.
