this movie is so great its so raw. takes you to the events of vietnam

This release is part of Sony’s MOD line of blu-rays. Discs are pressed, not burned, and a/v quality is solid. Extras are minimal but it’s just great to finally get this title on blu.

Back when Brian De Palma could direct an excellent film! Brutal look at a very sad story. Fox and Penn both give great performances. Some parts of the movie are extremely hard to watch, but it's a haunting truth of what happens in war. Highly recommend.

Fine cast. Sean Penn, Michael J. Fox, John C. Reilly who always shine in small roles by the way. M J F turns from an outcast to revengeful against his own troops. Well done.

Arguably, one of the toughest war movies you will ever see. Casualties of War addresses a different subject and makes war look even uglier. Extremely underrated.
