I live in western NC. I go up on the blue ridge parkway allot. I love to star gaze. This is a must have.

If you like to get out into nature with your children this is a great telescope as it's super light weight and packs down to a very small backpack. I was surprised when the tripod became a normal height and it's pretty sturdy as well. It actually works very well for what it is.

I bought this for my grandson as a gift. It is solidly built except for the tripod. Tripod is nothing special, but it does work. Great for looking at the moon. Excellent backpack that is great for storage and convenient to take with you on a trip. It's worth it as an entry level telescope.

I gave this a 5 not because it's the best scope of the earth, but because it's a whole lot better than I thought it would be. The paperwork says it's better for viewing terrain (yes, even though it's listed as a telescope) but I think it does a fair job at space viewing as well. Once again, not the best but really good. The 45 degree eyepiece makes it easier. Also, if you are a total amateur like me, it comes with downloads and software for your computer to help you and give you ideas. Perfect little scope.

Very light weight, surprisingly nice optics for a scope in this price range and a solid built product.

I bought two of these units as gifts for my grandsons who absolutely love them. We took them up to our mountain cabin and everyone had a good time with them. Pretty good bang for the buck.

The telescope worked pretty well to be able to look at the moon. I need something stronger to be able to look at stars.

This is a great telescope for a beginner! I love the backpack and organization of it. Great for short hikes too!

Your booklet says that I should be able to see Venus, Mars, and Jupiter, well I have tried but all I'm abe to see is some Brit stars. The stand for the scope is very flimsy and the handle to adjust the vertical and horizontal are very hard to adjust, every time I try to ajust it, it takes it out of line of what I was looking at.

I love this product. It has great projection and can magnify really well

if you want a quality view this is the one. very defined views and easy to use

The telescope is small and portable. I expected a better quality telescope. It's hard to locate objects in the viewfinder. Some of the pieces have already broken. Spend a little more money and get an upgraded telescope.
