After receiving the Dehydrator. We made several pounds of Beef and Turkey Jerky. This machine made the Jerky in a quicker time than our other Dehydrator we have had. Like the large trays and the quantity of trays that you get. Best Buy had it a price that could not find any other place for. Love this so far!

Great size, excellent price, easy to clean. I bought to preserve fruits and vegetables. There are so many trays and I did a batch of bananas. They came out so so. I have a learning curve . Did not leave in long enough.

I love this dehydrator. It is a little heavier than my old one but clean up is easy and it dehydrates faster than old one. I use it mostly to make chicken jerky for our labs but have used it to make beef jerky also for us humans.

I purchased this for a great price. It was one of the deals of the day (I love those)! My boyfriend loves to experiment with food and he had been wanting a dehydrator for awhile. This thing is simply amazing and well worth the regular price. It is very, very slow BUT that's what dehydrators do and it makes the food delicious (as long as the cook knows what they are doing). We've made yummy, crispy garlic green bean chips. And we've made very, very, very delicious teriyaki beef jerky that is way better tasting and definitely cheaper to make than the expensive stuff you buy at the store. We haven't used all 9 trays at one time yet but we've used 5 at once and everything is cooked perfectly.

If you're interested in eating healthier snacks but aren't sure if dehydrating foods is for you then you should invest in this devise. It is inexpensive as it is mostly made of plastic but it performs well.

My first dehydrator. Pros: Can hold lots of items on the multiple trays. Easy to clean. Easy to use. Cons: Large footprint. Loud but not overwhelming. I’m happy with this appliance, but this being my first dehydrator I wouldn’t be able to tell you if it’s a very good dehydrator. Would recommend.

I got this for my brother and his wonderful wife! And...Wait for it...Waaaaait...Just a little longer...The REALLY like it!!!!!!!!!! They grow probably 75% of their food themselves as my brother is a vegan (no...He's a good vegetarian, one that doesn't jump in my face for eating meat. He is not a grumpy, judgeMENTAL vegen, LOL! He enjoys what he eats and his wife is an excellent cook and again, they grow around 75% of their food in their back yard! And I LOVE my brother and his wife and son, so I bought 'em this little device. They have already begun using it for herbs and the like and soon they will start doing tomatoes and if I'm lucky, some apricots for me! Doggie treats for our most excellent Labratard pooch! Artificial beef jerky treats?! Real beef jerky treats?! Banana Chips?! Apples?! The list is only limited by your imagination and taste buds! Who knows what else they'll be sucking the liquid out of with this most excellent Food Dehydrator from my abso-freakin'-lutely favourite (note the cultured European spelling!) electronics store - Best Buy. I was told this thing really works great and they could not be happier with this gift and that is the entire purpose of giving something to someone you care about: Making them happy! I even got them the two year extended warranty! Why? Because I LOVE them, that's why? And it was affordable peace of mind to boot. Look, I'm not just any major dude but I will tell you, this thing (per my brother and his wife) is FANTASTIC! I am no cook, let alone a chef (well...Maybe along the lines of Chef Boyardee or Chef Tell!) but from what they tell me this thing is a quality piece of equipment and it gets the job done. What more could anyone want from a Food Dehyrdator? Highly recommended? Yuppers! Trust me. I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.

We purchased this machine with low expectations based on the price point, however we were very impressed. The dehydrator is huge (read the specs) so it does offer a lot of capacity, but thankfully we have a large pantry to store it in. We've tried drying fruit with much success. And the machine does expedite the process, and does run quietly enough. The only thing I think it could use is a longer power cord. Not enough to knock it down a star.

My wife has been looking for a new dehydrator for over a year. All we saw were not adequate or was to expensive. When this one showed up on a daily deal for such a good price we jumped for the deal. We received the dehydrator and have used it several times. It looks great and preformed just as expected.

I have use my new dehydrator 4 times so far with excellent results. The dehydrator has 9 shelves which enables the user to dry a significant amount of food. I have dried apples, pineapples and bananas with excellent results. You will need to determine how long to run the dehydrator to dry your foods to the level you desire. There is a handy chart in the user manual which suggests drying temperature and drying times. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and am able to shift from candy to my dried fruit products!

Amazing product for the price you pay. I've been using this to make beef jerky and it's really easy. I've also made dried mango, apples, and kiwis. It's a great way to not waste food if you have fruits that are about to spoil etc. It can be a little noisy but I run this overnight in the kitchen and as long as your in a separate room with doors you won't hear it from the kitchen. The trays are okay, I wish they were easier to clean the marinade dries and it's hard to wash off. Controls are super easy just set time and temp and done

My wife is Gluten-Free and avoids artificial additives. Use of this dehydrator allows her to make everything from dried fruit to fruit rollups to beef jerky.

I needed a bigger dehydrator and this met my needs. I dry apples, one medium apple per tray. It does a good job. I let it run overnight.

The instructions are not good enough for a newbie like me, so I’m never sure if I’m doing right. But I’ll keep experimenting!
