I love the convenience Best Buy provides in just picking up music. I burn all music to my hard drive as FLAC files so my only options are to buy a cd or download from an expensive website. This cd has been on my list of "must haves" for a while. Delighted I picked it up.

On 2/5 I visited Best Buy with my TV remote that was not working. I went to Derrick in the TV Dept. First he took 2 new batteries out of the drawer and placed in the remote and tested. That didn't work so we decided it was time for a new remote. I explained I did not need one with all the bells and whistles as I only had an Insignia TV with antenna (no cable) and a DVR. Before I had approached Derrick, I saw a remote on a shelf that said Insignia and showed that to him. Since my lack of need for everything on that remote, he showed my one that was simply for 2 devices. I bought that one. He was such a pleasure to work with as he had a great smile and sense of humor and made me feel like I was just as important buying this $20.00 remote as someone who was buying a $1,000 TV. When he pulled my info up on the computer/monitor he mispronounced my name (not uncommon) but quickly looked at it again and got it right. This may sound trivial but it makes one feel that it was important to him to pay attention to detail regarding that customer that is in front of him. I left feeling good because he was such a guy to work with. Got my remote home and could not get it to work AT ALL. Even couldn't get the battery cover to snap back on. I spent 1 hour, trying everything!!! Went back to BB and Derrick. He also could not get that battery cover on. He still had the original remote I originally picked on the counter so we decided to give that one a try. It was $10.00 more but I would give it a try. Once again, his customer service was outstanding!!! His sense of humor but also his attitude to make it 'right' alleviated any frustrations and stress I may have had with this ordeal over a silly little remote. When I got home, I read all the directions put in my batteries and was ready for the NEXT challenge of programing it. Then I read this little sentence that said, "If you have an Insignia TV, etc. this remote is already programed. I turned on the power button and yes indeed, everything was ready to go. I called the store and asked to speak to Derrick. He was so glad I called and followed up with the good news. This young man is such an asset to Best Buy. I have had good experiences before but he definitely was the 'icing on the cake' and I hope he gets recognized for his positive attitude and genuine commitment to serving the customer whether it is something as small my issue or something else. I just had to write this and I hope it does not go unnoticed. Thank you.

This album was recommended to me by a friend. I found this to be a classic soul album with a sense of humor. Written by the star of the tv series Atlanta, or recaptures the spirit of Sly Stone in his glory days!

Album is good and for me best song is redbone. Like the rest as well but wasnt overly impressed.

Donald Glover throws us a curve ball after his award-winner album "Because The Internet." The easy route would've been to record another Hip-Hop album. However, Donald Glover decides to flex his creative juices and give us a modern day Acid-Rock album. If you love creativity and taking a chance on yourself, you'll love this new Childish Gambino album. Respect, Mr. Glover.. Respect!

If you’re a fan off Funk Music, alternative or are looking for something different, this Album is for you. Childish Gambino proves he’s an amazing singer/song writer once again. If you’re use to him mainly rapping, expect some thing different. Yet, you’ll still be amazed. I recommend this to any one and everyone who loves music.

I tried this after watching Chilldish Gambino perform on an awards show (that and the fact that I love Atlanta and can’t wait to see him as Lando). The performance was good so I took a chance and I’m glad I did. This is a really good cd. I recommend it.

Been listening to Childish Gambino for years and he hasn't disappointed me yet. This album doesn't follow the usal hip hop standard and that is what makes it so great. It has a 70's funk vibe in the same realm as Parliament Funkadelic and Bootsy Collins.

If you are a big fan of Gambino's style on his first few albums, you may be taken aback by the sound of this one. An album that is composed of funk and soul is great to listen to and there are hooks that will keep you coming for more.

This album is incredible from start to finish. It brought back memories of the music my family and older cousins would listen to, which I ended up loving myself. Memories of Bootsy Collins, The Isley Brothers, and even touches of Prince in there. Great music to put you into a good mood.

Don't go into this album expecting the abstract trap sound, of Gambino's previous album Because The Internet. This album is mostly reminiscent of that Prince/Sly & The Family Stone/P-Funk era of soul/R&B. So if you like that type of music or don't mind Gambino's singing, give it a chance.

Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover delivers a fresh stylistic approach to this album that has been absent from any of his previous efforts. Somehow this funkified journey feel effort-less and is a pleasure through and through. Give it a listen and you won't be disappointed.

Definitely not what I expected from the album, but it grew on me. As a hiphop lyricist, I looked for thought provoking verses and got soulful songs. So, expect the unexpected with this album.....if you dare.

I'm the type of person who still likes to buy the album in physical state. Those album is for an alternative listener. I couldn't place it into any genre just listen with open arms and you'll like it

Everyone has different tastes, so this review is based on my personal taste. I really enjoy 70's soul music and this album really does a great job of paying tribute to this era, while also finding a way to be fresh and relevant today. Highly recommended.

He mixed it up on this album. It's more of a experimental album than a only-rap album. A lot of good production. I do like the single "Redbone."

Initially I only enjoyed Redbone, probably the best song on the album. But as I listened to it over and over my love of the album in its entirety increased. "Keep all your dreams, keep standing tall!"

Childish Gambino really did worked his magic on this album. Each song was simply unique, yet overall they fit well together. I was impressed.
