If you like Souls-like games, get it!
Excellent punishing gameplay for souls-like players. Drop the NPCs if you don’t want them helping. Everyone comments on the character customization being so unique and vast, but that’s only a small part of what makes this game good. The typical souls-like game does not deliver on the story side of things, or make you feel for the characters in the game. This game has a great story, sound track, and environment that I really loved.

Best non-From Souls Game So Far
I bought Code Vein and The Surge 2, and so far I am enjoying Code Vein more - the combat (once you understand the how to optimize it) doesn't require as much fast-twitch reflex and has more options. The RPG elements are incredibly deep and rewarding. Code Vein also has a more linear story than any other Soulsike, which is great if you feel that's been a missing facet of these games.

Good Game
1. Graphics: 8/10 2. Gameplay: 7.5/10 3. Controls: 7.5/10 4. Fun-Factor: 8/10 5. Story: 7.5/10 6. Online Support: 8/10 7. Replay value: High Note: CV is a laid back fun version on a Souls game. It’s hard as a Souls Title(Which is a good thing). Soul games are way to hard IMO. I play a game to have fun....not be frustrated and ready to break controller

Very fun
Excellent voice acting and the art style works well. The gameplay is similar to the Souls series, but much easier given the fact you can play multiplayer at anytime. Note, when playing multiplayer, you can’t use a save point to level up. Overall, I’m very happy with this game.
