A: I am using this cooler on an i7-13700k on an ASUS ROG Strix Z690-E Gaming WiFi 6E LGA 1700 Intel motherboard with great success! I did add an additional fan configured in a push-pull to fire direct at the case exit fan. I do not know if the extra fan is required, but wasn't willing to find out either. Buy with confidence this will serve your needs.
Q: Will this be good for a b450 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 3800x?
A: Yes, it fits am4 socket type which is your cpu. It's huge and I have a Corsair 4000d and it barely has an inch from the case wall

A: I have it with a 7 5700g, it should work without problem
