Q: WILL IT WORK WITH GOOGLE HOP

A: This model is Google Assistant compatible. It is unclear what Hop is.

Q: If your internet goes out does the thermostat work or are you without AC/HEAT until internet is restored?

A: Still works just like a normal thermostat would. If the internet goes out, you will just loose the ability to control functions through your app or smart device.

Q: Is this 4g - 5g enabled?

A: It appears you're asking about cellular compatibility. It is not a cellular device. If you're asking about wifi, it operates at 2.4Ghz 802.11b/g/n.

Q: Will this hook up to my expecting wires or does it need new wires ran. Mean I b hard wire or battery operated. ?

Q: My old thermostat has a jumper for RC and RH wire, do I need to copy this configuration for the jumper for this Emerson Thermostat? Thank you

A: Somewhere in the installation instructions it indicates these are already jumpered (ie, internally). The display & thermostat worked fine for me connecting to only one, and the illustrated installation procedure actually addresses this. (The wifi alone didn’t work, but I don’t believe that the wiring had anything to do with that.)
