Turn a compatible M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD into portable external storage with the Core Tech USB-C enclosure. USB 3.2 Gen 2 supports an advertised interface rate of up to 10Gbps; actual transfer performance depends on the SSD, host port and cable. The enclosure accepts one M-Key or M+B-Key NVMe PCIe drive in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 size. SATA/NGFF drives are not supported, even if the connector appears to fit. An aluminum alloy housing and included thermal pad help dissipate heat, while the slide-open design and retention clips allow tool-free installation. Connect using the included USB-C to USB-A cable and USB-C adapter. The source lists Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS and Android compatibility; host USB storage support and a compatible file system are required. USB bus power operates the enclosure without an external AC adapter. Includes one enclosure, one cable, one USB-C adapter, one thermal pad, two retention clips and one user manual.
