Just ordered again for a new computer. Used this item before and the holes lined up perfectly with the SSD drive and the computer case. Didn't want to chance purchasing the slightly less expensive competitive item which apparently is flimsy and sometimes doesn't fit properly.

I used this in tandem with a few adapters for my 2001 imac and it mounted perfectly. Really happy with the quality of the build. Be careful not to bend it too much and try slotting your drive into the fromt so you dont bend it. Got this saved if I ever need to purchase another one. Best one out there and good for the price of ten bucks.

Needed a 2.5" enclosure for two SSDs I was installing and came upon the CORSAIR Dual SATA Drive Enclosure for 2.5" SSD Drives. Never realized they made such things! lol Killed two birds with one stone so to speak. In fact, the price at Best Buy was cheaper than if I were to buy two separate enclosures for each drive. I have a few CORSAIR components in my system and have always been satisfied with the quality so it was an easy decision to purchase this.

These 3.5" Bay-adapters are great for adding one or two 2.5" SSD and/or SATA Hdd's to a desktop PC for better performance!

Why 5 stars? Because it's always so cool buying stuff at Best Buy, knowing you're gonna get the product exactly like was advertised; It's gonna be good quality and at a good price. This particular bracket let me easily mount and install an additional SSD (SATA), in and out in 10 minutes. The bracket is perfect for holding either 2.5" or 3.5" drive, or both.

It worked well to mount 2 SSDs. The reason for only 4 stars was that unfortunately my older full tower case has "sled" type trays to put in hard drives and this ended up being about 1/8" too long to latch the sled into place. I am not sure if case standards have changed their dimensions over the years for such things.

It is solid and holds up my 77” tv to the wall. I would definitely recommend.

This was a perfect addition, I needed the space saving in my new tower computer I have 2 SSD drives and 3 standard drives.

Great little caddy. Just make sure not to lose the screws. Otherwise, its exactly what you would want a metal tray to handle 2 2.5" drives in one 3.5" bay.
Trying2Help Posted
The tabs that hold the 2.5" drive are offset on the tray. This means that if you are using a bay or shuttle tray that aligns to ports permanently mounted on a board or other surface, this "adapter" will not work. To explain another way: a 2.5" drive mounted in this enclosure will not line up the same as the Data and Power Ports on a 3.5" Sata drive. This tray will *hold* a 2.5 drive, but you will only be able to hook it up with free moving data and power cables.

I needed to mount a small SSD in my Dell computer - which only has 3.5 full sized slots. After some consideration I ordered this one. I find it to work very well, with no tools required to mount the SSD. The device has two levels, so that dual SSD can be mounted. The SSD slides in and fits snugly, and is held in place by a couple of plastic tabs.. Then the entire assembly went into the computer exactly right. I have no complaints at all about this model. They include four small screws to secure the holder into the bay, but those were not needed, because Dell has sliding removable mounts.

Bought to put install (adapt) a SSD into the desktop machine. It worked fine and was impressed that all the needed screws were included for the cost.

Pros: you can mount two SSDs in this one enclosure More positions available to your if you're using only one Well Priced Screws included Cons: Can't mount the SSD directly to the bottom of the enclosure which can cause an issue with some All-In-One conversions, where the existing SATA connectors cannot be moved or adjusted. In that case, this adapter places the SSD SATA connectors too high to connect to a fixed SATA connector on the motherboard.
