All the power I need, with the being able to use only the connections I need makes for the cleanest PC builds. Corsair is #1 in my opinion. Also this is super quite with a fan control knob on the back.

I was looking to upgrade my power supply in my prebuilt pc since I was fixing to upgrade my cpu (to a ryzen 7 9800x3d) and video card (to a 5070ti). I needed one that offered the wattage necessary (and the correct connector for the gpu) to run my new upgrades on top of everything else this pc has. This was the power supply I ended up choosing. It fits snugly in my pc’s basement and is mostly out of sight. The modular nature of the cabling was partially useful but since I needed almost every cable it did take some doing to keep the excess cable length tucked away. The cables themselves were easy enough to install (into the supply itself), mostly just bring matching the clearly labeled plugs into the clearly labeled ports. I won’t speak of ease of connecting everything to the motherboard and other accessories a pc may have as that’ll vary from pc case to case, motherboard to motherboard. It runs really quiet though this depends entirely on how high you have the fan turned up. It’s not overly noisy when turned all the way up but is quite noticeable. Thankfully I only need to turn it to maximum during the summer months. Normal fan speeds are almost whisper quiet. Finally, the wattage is more than enough for my needs as I am not currently running a 5080/5090. At no point in time have I experienced throttling due to not having enough power. It even comes with an on/off switch which could be handy. All in all this was a great purchase and I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone looking for more power but don’t need 1200 watts and has a pc case that it fits into.

TL;DR: This Corsair power supply handles my RTX 5080 flawlessly with zero coil whine. It actually overdelivers on efficiency with a Cybenetics Platinum rating despite being listed as Gold online. The flexible sleeved cables and preinstalled combs make installation incredibly easy. Highly recommended for demanding builds. Full Review: I bought this Corsair power supply for a recent computer build and while it's a bit larger than some other options out there, you can feel the premium quality immediately. The packaging is surprisingly minimal and clean. That makes getting everything laid out and ready to install pretty painless. The cables really caught my attention when sorting through the box. They are fully modular and feature individual paracord sleeving made from a flexible triple layer mesh. Corsair even went ahead and preinstalled clamshell style cable combs on the 12V 2x6 and ATX 24 pin connectors. That seems to be a newer addition for this specific unit and it really helps keep things tidy inside the case. They also tossed in a small pack of black zip ties - a simple but helpful touch for routing wires. Interestingly enough, the product description online actually sells this unit short. It's advertised as a Gold efficiency power supply but this refreshed version is essentially Cybenetics Platinum rated. Both the physical box (see photo) and the Cybenetics website confirm the upgrade. For those keeping track of the specs, the certification ID is 2396 with an average efficiency of 89.047% at 115V and 91.139% at 230V. It's incredibly rare to see a brand deliver above their target specs instead of barely meeting them. That extra efficiency will definitely help keep energy costs down if you live in an area with expensive electricity rates. I'm using this to power an RTX 5080 and it handles that massive card without breaking a sweat. I haven't noticed a single bit of coil whine regardless of the load. There is a handy fan control knob on the back that comes set to a zero RPM mode by default. This means the fan stays completely off and dead silent until you push past the 500 watt mark. If you're someone who prefers constant airflow over silence, you can simply turn that knob clockwise until it clicks to manually set your own fan speed. Honestly though, even when the 140mm fluid dynamic bearing fan finally kicks on during heavy gaming sessions, it runs exceptionally quiet. Getting the graphics card hooked up was super easy because the 12V 2x6 connector latches into place very solidly. I did notice that the cable only features two of the four sense pins. Don't let that worry you if you spot it too. It powers my card perfectly fine without those extra two pins which are mostly just there for future components or sideband revisions anyway. The two pins that actually matter for dictating power are present and accounted for in this kit. Because the sleeved cables are so flexible, routing them was a breeze and allowed the connector to seat squarely in the socket without being pulled at a weird angle. If you're putting together a heavy duty system and need reliable power with plenty of high quality cables, this unit is well worth picking up. Great for my pc build needed something that could handle my rtx 5089 and this psu did it perfectly also very easy to install and comes with different cords to suit different computers overall great psu would buy again for future builds

I haven't had any problems at all! I bought it because I recently got an RTX4090 and it definitely gives enough power output. It's really a great PSU, would highly recommend if you need some power.

It is rock solid no performance issues and silent fan ,cables are strong quality.

So far so good. It's having no issues powering my 7800X3D and 5080. The 12VHPWR port means I don't need the adapter. Cables are of a higher quality than I expected. They look good and come with cables combs, so it's a fairly clean look without having to get custom PSU cables.

I have a very demand 5080 Nvidia card; I've been having instability issues but once I changed over this power supply, zero problems. I've ran 24 hours stres tests, zero issues. Absolutely quality product and I am thrilled, the power capacity is more than enough for this card, and the included special cable is absolutely fantastic so no complaints! I'm thrilled

I had issues with my current power supply having issues after doing some upgrades to my tower. I bough this because of the brand name and warranty and am very happy with how everything is working now the past couple months.

I went from a 3080ti and ThermalTake 750W grad tough power RGB PSU which had served me well for about 8 years to a new 5080 GPU - Asus TUF version. I wanted to ensure stable power and also wanted the new PCIe connector for a simplified install. This bad boy did the trick!

Got this right after I bought a 5070ti. So glad I did. Made powering it much easier and safer. I hid it behind a 12" touch monitor in my wall mounted TMNT themed PC. Looks cleaner with the one 12 pin.

Excellent for protecting the components of my new gaming PC. Great voltage protection. You can also control the fan speed, which is great. Highly recommended.

The RM1000X is a great psu it has great wattage and a great price point I think it’s good overall well worth it
