Overall this product is good because of its modularity. The wattage is good for my needs and because its modular its easy to keep cables tidy and organized. One thing I am not a fan of is the power port orientation. I wished it was different because I struggled to use ishift on my case. I was able to figure it out but I'm just afraid of the tension on the cable.

Picked this up for a new PC build and it's been running great. The installation was straightforward, and the fully modular cables definitely made things a lot cleaner inside the case. Everything powered on the first try, and it's been stable without any issue. Running a Core i7 & PNY 5060 without breaking a sweat. Also really quiet – honestly can’t hear it at all most of the time. It seems well-built and came nicely packaged too. No complaints so far. Hopefully it holds up long-term, but first impressions are all positive. Would buy again.

Going from an old non-modular to this unit significantly increased my efficiency and it cut noise way down too. The new cables are pretty and tidy, the fan is quiet when it does run, and coil whine is practically zero.

I purchased a RTX 5070 Founders Edition GPU and wanted to upgrade my Corsair CX 650 M PSU as well. Moving up to the RMx Corsair series was the right move. It has better internal components, greater efficiency and a manual over-ride control for the fan. In addition, it comes with the latest power cable, perfect for my new GPU!

Had to buy a new PSU since I made a major upgrade on my GPU. I ended up buying this and it was definitely worth the money. Very easy to install and it came with every cable necessary, I didn't even have to buy any extra cables. Runs very quiet even with the newest AAA games which is great.

After I installed it in my new build, I haven't thought about it since, which is exactly what you want in a power supply: not having to worry about it constantly. It was $25 off too, which is always great. Maybe one day I'll have a reason to try the knob on the back, but it's been silent and powering everything without issue. Cool beans

Amazing CPU for anyone who needs PCIE5.1. I looked everywhere for a psu that had this connector and out of all of them this seemed like the only one that had the newest standard(5.1) and could source locally. It's also just an amazing product, everything about it screams high quality, especially the cables. The fan speed knob is a nice touch and the cables are amazing that come with it. That's half the battle with PSU's, you get a cheaper one and the cables are flat, hard to work with, and just cheap feeling. Not with this PSU, the cables are great, takes a couple mins to put them in the combs (or just leave them like me). With this PSU I have cleaned my PC wires up so now it looks super clean, and that equals better cooling! (I just switched cases so don't mind the stickers and finger prints. I took this pic and noticed you could see the Rm850x through the side and thought it looked cool, and works perfect for this)

Excellent power supply unit. Modular and easy to use. Reliable hardware with no power issues with the 9070xt (Base clock). PSU fan can be set to auto or silent with the turn of a knob. Type 4 pcie cables that come with the unit look and feel sturdy. Keep in mind this only comes with 3 8-pin pcie cables, depending on the demands of your GPU you might have to order another one specific to this model.

This is a fantastic power supply for high quality gaming PCs! It is super quiet, consistent, easy to install, and the cables are very high quality/come with premium cable combs already installed!

This 850 watts power supply is great! I like how it is fully modular so I don’t have to deal with unnecessary wires. In the picture I don’t have it in the PC because I’m in the process of building it. Though please check that this is the right power supply for you. It could be supplying to little power to your PC or too much depending on that parts you get.

Have had zero power issues with running with my pc

Not a bad unit, great for overclocking, just make sure you have the wall power, as in at least 15amp socket, use the outlet only for this unit, or overclocking won't be stable. For regular use , definitely A1.

My last PSU started to squeak horribly. Like a dentist drilling. I needed a new PSU and chose this one. Easy to install since it is modular. It is powering a 7800X3D and 6800XT.

Removed my old PSU and cables and put in this one. These are some of the best PSU stock PSU cables, and the fact that the PSU is atx3.1 means that it is up to new standards. Overall, a really good PSU by Corsair, and will not have to worry about it for a long while.

I bought the 850e version then when i took all the parts in for geek squad to build my computer, I realized this was on sale and was only a $15 difference. So far couple weeks later I'm very satisfied and after reading all the upgraded differences I'm very happy to of caught the sale! With that said,I still think the 850e model should be around $109 with the 850x around $124 to $129 price point.
