Performance & Texture I’ve consistently used Corsair’s thermal pastes, including the XTM50 and XTM70, but the XTM60 really hits the sweet spot between the two. The consistency is perfect—it’s not "soupy" like some thinner brands, but it also avoids that difficult, dry "clay" feeling. This makes for a very smooth application whether you are using a spreader or the pea-dot method. Real-World Results: Solving the Throttling Issue I put this to the test on a new Ryzen 5 7530u laptop that was unfortunately thermal throttling almost immediately out of the box. After cleaning the factory gunk and applying XTM60, the results were night and day: * Stress Test: During a 30-minute, 100% utilization stress test, the CPU hovered comfortably between 60°C and 80°C. * Peak Temps: It reached a maximum of 88°C with zero throttling, which is well within the safe operating range for this mobile chip (max temp is 95°C). The Ultimate Console "Service" Paste Beyond laptops, I’ve found this to be an excellent solution for aging consoles. I have since applied it to: * PS4 & PS4 Pro: These are notorious for "jet engine" fan noise as the factory paste dries out. XTM60's thermal conductivity significantly quieted my Pro. * Xbox One & Xbox Series S: It works perfectly for the APU heatsinks on these units. Final Verdict Unless you are running an extreme, liquid-nitrogen-cooled enthusiast build, most high-quality brands will work fine—but the XTM60 stands out for its reliability and ease of use across multiple platforms. It solved my laptop’s overheating issues and revitalized my older consoles and home server. I would definitely buy this Corsair XTM60 again for my next project.

Have used corsairs XTM50 and XTM70 thermal pastes for xbox series s and x APUs heatsinks, lga1700 cpu heatsinks and various am4/am5 laptop cpu heatsinks and never had any high temps nor theottling. I would say this XTM60 is a mix betwen the xtm50 and xtm70, not soupy but also not dry clay feeling either. Used on a new ryzen 5 7530u laptop processor that would over heat and thermal theottle quickly, after cleaning up and applying the XTM60 with a 30min 100% utilization stress test it would hover between 60°C and 80°C with no throttling reaching a max temp ot 88°C. Have used this XTM60 in a couple xbox seris s consoles for the APU heatsink as well and worked great. Unless youre running an insane high end build with heavy use most thermal paste brand and models out there will do just fine. I would definitely buy this corsair xtm60 again.

Great thermal paste, needed it for my steam deck and has shown significant performance in the long run. Super simple with everything included and easy to apply for my first time and still got plenty left for future uses.

Luckily I bought at fairly cheap ($12), the thermal paste is really good, even better than artic's mx formula, though a bit more expensive depending on the deal you get it at. Good temps and good portion, enough for about 5 applications.

The best part of this product is the included applicator that it comes with, it makes this an excellent choice for someone new to applying thermal paste.

No joke, this is really worth its money. My CPU was overheating to a point I couldn’t turn it on without it dying on me 30 secs later. But once I used this paste, worked great, never died again.

Been running this thermal paste on several builds running 24/7 and it runs cool as Noctua paste if not better.
