Great value! Easy to use and made it in time for the heatwave that's about to come to my area!

The Costway AC was easy to install and quickly cooled down the area needed (400 Sq Ft ). It’s been in the mid-high 90’s for a few weeks here in Florida, but it’s comfortable inside thanks to the unit.

I bought this portable AC to replace one that recently died, and I'm liking this AC so far! It is very effective at cooling down my apartment, even on very hot days, which I appreciate. It's about a medium loudness when running-- similar to my prior portable AC. The only downside for me is the way it decides when to switch on. My impression (though I don't know if this is an intended feature) is that it doesn't turn on until the room is 3-4 degrees over the set point, and then keeps the room cool to the temperature you set, until it's naturally cool enough to turn off. If you've got a hard cap on how hot your space can get before there's Problems, you'll want to set your AC to five degrees lower than that cap, so that the AC will turn on consistently.

The hottest part of the house is the kitchen because it gets full afternoon sun. Also, the windows aren't conducive for a window ac. The Cost Way unit keeps my kitchen cool and comfortable.

It cooled the room... However, it was draining water...2 gallons every 1 1/2 to 2 hours...which was ridiculous... No air conditioner should drain that much... And customer support was useless...they would respond in the middle of the night...the only way to contact them was messaging...then they came up with excuses of not wanting to take a return... After, finally...they offered me $30 to keep the item for my troubles if i kept it...and still keep having to empty the bucket all night long...which was a NO! Then finally sent me a return label which was asked from the beginning for a defective item...and wanted me to carry it to a FedEx store...even though i had already explained i was disabled and had to get someone to bring it in, set it up, and pack it back up... All of this was RIDICULOUS!

I bought this portable A/C unit for my 2 month old granddaughter so she could be outside with the rest of the family. I set up a few chairs under an umbrella, shade, and have this A/C unit blowing on them. Works great. So far I have used it in temps up to the mid 90's. Debating on getting a second unit.

It works fine. My air went out and this unit keeps the upstairs cool until I can get the unit repaired. It is a great addition.

This product delivers cooling but is just not powerful enough to cool an area as large as 450 sq ft…at least not in Houston, TX in the summer. It just does not circulate area a high enough volume to counteract the heat being put in to the space. It is pretty cool close to it but outside of 5’-8’ away its effects are diminished.

The item works well in this heat and cools the room well.

This thing is loud and the baffle intended to capture the hot air is worthless. It allows so much hot air to escape that it basically makes this thing pointless. It is constantly trying to complete with its poor engineering. I contacted the company to seek a return and was met with endless emails asking for videos of the box and the unit demonstrating the problem, because air is so easy to see in videos.... Stuck with landfill junk now.
