Great looking; assembly defect

The lamp is a sharp looking product. Assembly was easy after some analysis of diagram-only instructions. Cords connecting top & bottom lamps were too short by several inches, so I had to splice in a length of lamp cord using 4 wire nuts
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
