Honestly, assembling this island was an absolute nightmare. First, the packing is the cheapest I've ever seen. The box came dented in multiple spots and the cheap packing foam was crumbling and breaking which left multiple knicks and scratches in the surface of the material. Second, the material is CHEAP, a step or so below IKEA quality, and the tolerance on construction makes assembly difficult at times. Third, the instructions are TERRIBLE, there are times I had to go back a few steps because the instructions were unclear on assembly direction and I placed a part on the wrong side. This took me over 3 hours to put together and still somehow missed a step on the towel rack. The overall construction is fairly sturdy, and for around $150 it gets the job done. Unless you REALLY need something and don't have a bigger budget, I would highly recommend saving and getting something else.
