Excellent film! So happy to see Cronenberg return to form (body horror) after spending years making films outside the science fiction/horror genres. He's the master. Also, keep physical media in production! I'm disappointed Best Buy stopped selling blurays, but I'm hoping they'll eventually reconsider. Bring it back!

This film disappointed me so, so much. It was definitely weird, that's a given, but I just wasn't able to appreciate it as much as his other films. The cast is great, that's probably my highest praise.

David Cronenberg is a master of the bizarre when it comes to film. The underlying message of societies continued decent and carelessness of humankind mixed with body horror is something you shouldn’t miss if you’re a Cronenberg fan.

these directors always try to make their movie overcomplicated and really hard to understand! i mean theyre good at least they aren't boring but its just hard to understand them that in the end when the credits are rolling you're just laying there thinking what it was all about i still don't know what this was about and i still don't know what videodrome was about either

Movie was okay. If you’re into body horror but with a confusing plot then this is for you. I’m all about the body horror but the story was just confusing.

This movie had a lot of potential and the first half is really good. It falls apart at the end and ultimately is unsatisfying.

Not for the casual movie goer but if you know the directors style and themes then you will likely get a lot out of this.

I don't really know where to start at with this movie review. Viggo Mortensen's performance was solid as always, but this movie was just weird. It had a political and climate change message hidden in low level scifi/snuff film. I knew that this movie would be a little bit out there since it was directed by David Cronenberg, but this was another level of weird for him. The movie starts out with a child being smothered to death by his mother and goes full bore on the crazy train from there. This is a dark movie in most scenes, with a decent soundtrack. The performances of the actors was were all pretty good with the exception of Kristen Stewart. Who has the acting range and facial expressions of a rock. This movie is classified as scifi/horror. A better classification would be scifi/crime/gross. I would avoid this movie unless you're a fan of David Cronenberg's work.

Glad it was in stock, the selection for Blu-ray’s has dwindled so much.

Weird movie. I didn't really enjoy it. There was no joy in this film. Very disturbing. Odd, because I normally might like stuff like this.

Weird movie, only loosely related to his original film of this title fifty years ago. Interesting and different and worth watching if you know what you’re getting.

As a huge fan of David Cronenberg, I had to pick up a copy. It was a strange and fun movie, but I get why a lot of people will not enjoy it as much as I did.

While David Cronenberg can be praised for his ambition in creativity, the film ultimately suffers from an overstuffed and convoluted plot.

Not quite the return to form we were hoping for from David Cronenberg. Some interesting ideas but the budget restraints show.

Yet another study in cellular discomfort from David Cronenberg. Beautifully filmed and acted. Could almost be regarded as an environmental opus.
