Q: Is the inside por supposed to be loose? It seems to move a lot inside the heat unit.
A: The inside does seem loose on mine, but has had no effect on cooking, however, I have recently had one of my recipes a little overflowed with juices and it runs into the gap Between the ceramic and the cooker. It is definitely something to be aware of. It drains right out Onto whatever surface area it's sitting on.
Q: Can the crock (black) be put in the oven
A: Yes, the crock pot itself (not the glass lid) can be put in the oven. The crock and the lid are dishwasher safe. The mini crock has to be hand washed and is a single unit so it cannot be put in the oven.

A: Large crock lid is glass. Small add on crock lid is plastic

A: Yes it can be removed from the heating element container and moved to a serving area. Also I believe it could be put in the refrigerator as long it was cool enough at the time of course.
