It is very, very fast. The newer T705 is quicker and cooler but I got a 4TB for $200 less than that model and I gave up maybe 2000 MB/s. I am using it with my board FROZR hyeat sink and even with stress testing it I can't get it over 72C so not close to throttling. Honestly, I don't notice a huge diff over my Gen 4 990 Pro. Boot times are very good but the Ryzen 9000 boards don't exactly rip off boots. I used 1TB for Windows and partitioned the rest for programs,

This ssd T700 is awsome. I just built a PC with top of the line components and chose this in 1tb and 4tb. The transfer speed is out if this world. Highly recommended

The T700 will NOT work in an enclosure! They need to specify this! It will mount for ~1 minute before ejecting, despite trying multiple enclosures. I tried two Thunderbolt 5 enclosures and they won't even recognize it. I then tried it on a Gen 4 motherboard that Crucial's site says is compatible, and it doesnt mount. Crucial customer service said "We can't guarantee compatibility, try a Gen 5 PCIe motherboard." YOUR WEBSITE SAYS ITS COMPATIBLE with the TUF Gaming z690 Plus motherboard! If you "cant guarantee" that it will work in an enclosure, you need to state this on the website! It's literally one of two ways people use these. It is less than 90 days old and it doesn't even stay connected for a minute anymore. It's useless to me now.
