This is my second Crucial - X9, fast read and wright speed, durable and small enough to take it with you anywhere, this is the best USB-C SSD for size, speed and price, from now on I would not get anything else, I would recommended to everyone.

I purchased the 1TB and now I have more than enough space on my Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop. It is also portable and very light weight. This item/product is convenient but also useful when you're in need of more memory on your pc. I highly recommend.

Bought this for primarily 4K video editing. It’s tiny, but it’s fast and efficient. It connects to my M1 MacBook Air & iPad Mini 6 with ease. I’m able to transfer files in seconds and exporting is really fast. I would highly recommend for video editing.

Compact size with a big punch. I’m using it as a Time Machine backup drive for my MacBook Pro M4. The only drawback is that it gets quite warm during large backups, but that’s pretty normal for drives this fast. Performance is excellent, and I’ve had no issues so far. I’d definitely recommend it—especially since you can get 1TB for under $100!

This Crucial external SSD is impressively small and very fast, making it great for quick file transfers and portability. It easily connects to a wide range of devices, and I had no trouble using it with my PC, phone, and console. The build quality feels solid, and the water and drop resistance adds peace of mind for travel. While it performs well overall, it’s not the best value if you’re buying it specifically to store PC games or retro game libraries. Game launch times were a bit inconsistent compared to my internal drives. It works, but it’s not as smooth or responsive as I expected for gaming use. For creators or casual file storage, it’s a solid option, but gamers might want to look elsewhere for the price. Still, the compact size and speed make it a convenient everyday drive.

Sometimes I forget that stores might have something cheaper than Amazon. This was one of those times. :-) I needed some extra space for my laptop and this was in stock. I bought it online and drive to my nearby Best Buy and it was waiting for me when they opened. It's working great and I appreciate the extra storage space, plus this takes up very little room. "would buy again."

The device is lightweight and easy to use via USB. My desktop hard drive, with some 22K photos, had died. Geek Squad was able to retrieve about 80 percent of those and save them on the Crucial X9 external hard drive. Photos were easy to open quickly and had excellent resolution.
