About this product
Crust is a band from northwestern Russia founded back in 2014. The music this trio creates is a varied blend of styles but can be broadly defined as blackened doom sludge. Their lyrics mostly touch issues such as the degradation of morality in contemporary society, the shift in values, the vices of human nature, miseries and misfortunes that are usually not few and far between in people's lives. Dissolution is the fifth studio record by the band, where they demonstrate more black metal tendencies than before, though melodic guitar arrangements, dark atmospheres and post-metal elements are definitely still present. The lyrical theme that unites most of the songs is still the acceptance of inevitable death as the only way of mental and spiritual liberation. Crust is a hell's locomotive fueled by the agony of sinful souls, that knows no stopping and is constantly moving forward to new music discoveries. Album Tracks 1. He Color of Void 2. He Carries the Fog 3. I Serve You and Oblivion 4. Graves Await 5. God Made Some Hearts of Stone 6. Captivi Infernis 7. The Maniac King 8. Morrigan 9. Blazing the Trail in the Land of Suffering

With their fifth album InchThe Stillness of DissolutionInch, Austere embark on a dark journey that leads through the abyss of time, the inevitable return of order to chaos into the black void. In the words of the poet everything that arises is worth that it perishes. The new album brings an overall blacker feel to their sound. This slight change of course does not constitute an easy nostalgic return to the old days as Austere remain within the framework of the more mature and defined version of their particular style of depressive black metal, which reflects their greater experience and evolution as artists. Austere arose from a solo-project run by multi-instrumentalist and singer Desolate alias Mitchell Keepin who joined forces with drummer, keyboard player, and vocalist Sorrow aka Tim Yatras in 2005. Signature frost-bitten guitars, alongside high-pitched screams and wails marked Austere's debut album InchWithering Illusions and DesolationInch (2007). The sophomore album InchTo Lay like Old AshesInch followed in 2009 and still featured a raw sound but with a refined production. At this point in time, both musicians decided to focus on other projects and Austere went into hibernation until the duo reformed in 2021. The number of followers had only grown during their absence through word of mouth. Austere are back in black with InchThe Stillness of DissolutionInch, yet the Australians also keep all the subtle shades of grey that turn the ongoing evolution of their music into a thrilling experience of new sonic spaces of dark matter.
