This photo frame gives you the option to use SD cards. It also allows you to go online. Both of these features are welcome. The app that goes along with it is okay. I was able to successfully get the calendar synced up on the device. But realistically my mom is primarily using the photo frame feature. Which was a pain in the booty to get going. It initially did not take my one SD card, so I had to get another. That did work. The information on what to do in this scenario was not a lot. But I end up figuring it out. And then there was the issue when I updated more photos onto the SD card. I put the card back in and then it fell into the cavity of the device. Mind you, I hadn't put the SD card in correctly, but as it is so tiny that is easy to do. Now, I was able to successfully open the device to find the card and reinsert it properly. However, this should not have been necessary. There should have been some kind of barrier or some kind of prevention to prevent me from making that kind of mistake. There is none. The other thing I would say about this is that if you're looking for awesome picture quality I wouldn't look here. That's not what I was looking for. There are better photo frames out there. That is their entire point of existence. There are also better calendars out there whose entire existence is this. This can get you by for relatively cheap. And if that's what you're looking for then I'd say go ahead and select this device. Just know that it is not super high quality. But it will get the job done. And hey, my mom does love it. But it's not because of the features or the picture quality. She really doesn't interact with the frame. All she does is look at it and reminisce. And hey, that works for her.
