I did leave a previously glowing review, which I am not able to edit. I was in love with this coffee maker.....until the love turned into gobs of black plastic coming off the inside of the holding tank...right into my coffee cup. I can see where the layer of plastic has come off from all around the inside. It's absolutely not layers of built up coffee. It's shiny black plastic. I'm pretty sure we've injested a bunch of that plastic without realizing it. How horrible is that! I did read another review saying it happened to their Cuisinart too. So it's not just mine! Beware! Do not buy it!

I absolutely love this coffee maker! I'm a full time student who works both a full and a part time job on the side and sometimes, coffee is the only thing that keeps me going. This coffee maker is wonderful! I've tried Keurigs, the standard coffee pot style, and some other off brand styles that just never seemed to work as well as I wanted them to, or do quite as much as I needed them to. This coffee maker has a programmable start so my coffee is ready when I come down the stairs in the morning, as well as a reservoir so when I make more than one cup (it holds up to 12), it stays hot for hours. Plus, you pour one cup of a time by pushing down on the lever, so there is no hassle of worrying about breaking a glass pot. I would definitely recommend this product!

I read many reviews, tried to understand why I would spend $100 on a coffee maker. I was wondering where all the $20 Mr. Coffee's went. Then I realized, I'm getting old. I hate cleaning a glass carafe, the inevitable leak from the silicone hoses they used. The lime build up you didn't know about until it was taking an hour to brew. The features on this one really impressed me. It's not a complex thing at all. Fully programmable without going to MIT, easy to fill side reservoir & comes with a gold tone filter for lazy me! Better yet, the carafe is internal, a plastic, like a thermos, all you need is a cup! Plus the LED that lights up when filling was a nice surprise. Flavor is as good as anywhere one would pay $5 a cup & a full 12 cups brews in just under 12 minutes. I like the adjustable shut off time default at 2 hours but I can set it longer if I want the coffee to stay hot longer than 3 hours. So after this recent purchase, we've brewed 1000? cups of coffee or close to it. The charcoal filter is still fine, the "clean" light hasn't come on, not a single glitch. That's why I spent $100 on a coffee maker & it was a steal at that price now that I've experienced this machine. I got the last one on the shelf. Wasn't on display, just saw it online & found a lonely one there in the back. Everyone was buying the super expensive ones & missed out on the best cup after cup of coffee for cheap. Did I mention it takes about 5 minutes to take it apart & clean it? Very easy & I only take the whole thing apart for that once a week. 3 year warranty as well, you can't beat this machine! Some say a larger cup won't fit under. Some will by simply removing the drip tray to fill your cup.

Love this product! No carafe to break and have to replace... and coffee does not get that yucky burned flavor after an hour or so. Easy to clean, easy to set up for brewing. Great for small or large crowd as brewing number of cups is adjustable. I never use the timer, but usually have it ready to go, water and coffee in unit so all I do is push on every AM. I've even put it in the dishwasher ( top rack) but it's really not necessary. I wouldn't trade it. Best part is the coffee stays hot and does not get that yucky burned taste! You won't regret it.

I love this Cuisinart coffee maker! You don't need a carafe, just push the button & fill your cup. It makes 12 cups of coffee and holds them. No mess, no carafe to clean!

This my second Cuisinart 12 C Coffee Maker. My previous one was purchased in 1994 and has lasted all this time. I really love this Coffee Maker. I love to set it to have coffee ready in the morning before going to work. On weekends I turn it on whenever. I brews fast, delicious and just the right temperature even after adding creamer. I have not one thing negative to say about this product. Enjoy!

Simple to set up , simple to use. Makes great coffee and stays hot longer and never burns. Easy to clean.

The user of this product is a stroke patient. He finds it easy to use. Likes the light that illuminates the cup when filling. The fact that it doesn't require him to pour from a carafe makes filling up a cup of coffee much easier and safer for him to do.

We used one of these unit at a resort that had them in the room and was impressed how will it worked we always use our travel mugs and like this feature but you have to put the tray in to brew also like touse the auto brew all ready when we wake up we have hada bunn for the last14 years and it finally died its not as quick as the bunn but whats a couple of min in life no big deal it also dose not need paper filters and coffee is plenty hot

This Cuisinart is a far better design than two older carafe-less coffeemakers that we have had. It is very easy to load and has great tasting coffee. The 'gas gauge' is awesome!

So far. So good. I have used other coffee maker similar to this product but this one is much easier to use. This one has a lever to dispense your coffee into a cup underneath the coffee container It even has a light under the container to make sure that you're hitting the center of the cup..

Easy to use, makes great coffee every time, easy to clean. This is my second time purchasing the Cuisinart coffee maker. my first one lasted forever, but it finally broke and I was given another kind of coffee maker. It kept leaking in the well and I was afraid it would catch on fire, so I went back and brought another Cuisinart. Now I'm happy.

Best coffee maker ever. The ease of use and quality is amazing.

Chose this because we don't like glass carafes on the road. It's programmable so you wake up to the wonderful aroma of coffee and it beeps gently to let you know it's finished brewing (and again later when it turns off). Easy to fill with water and coffee and clean. Love the lever to dispense the coffee too!

I love this coffeemaker. It's very easy to use and makes great coffee. No more spilling water from a carafe trying to fill it. If I want to fill a taller cup, I just pull the overflow tray out and it fits perfectly. I really, really like not having a carafe, just push the lever and fill the cup.

We stayed in a hotel that had this coffee maker. We liked it so much I went and bought one the next week. It was awesome that we could try before buy. It also helps that our current Bun bit the big one after 20 years. I love that there is no coffee pot and you can make 1 cup or up to 12. I usually make 10 and that's enough for hubby and I, but if he isn't around I can make 1/2 that and it still tastes great! I never could quite make a good half pot with the Bunn.

Cuisinart Coffee - 5 STAR I debated for months on which coffee maker I would purchase. I considered a Nespresso but so glad I went with Cuisinart. It holds the coffee inside the consult and keeps it warm. No clean up needed, amazing.

It took a lot from me to give up my old coffee machine and I must say, it was worth it!! My coffee must be two things: HOT, and QUICK! The amazing feature on this machine allows you to brew an amount, and if you don't use it all, it stores it, so if you want another cup later on in the day, BOOM, push a button, it heats up in five minuets and it's ready! Perfect for people on the go!

Works great. Easy to clean and no spills with like with a pot.
