The average rating is because not all the holes line up for assembly. I drilled two new holes in the back label if the interior because there were missing where screws were indicated on the plans. The places they screwed in were there. I also had to drill the back panel to widen several holes so that they’d line up where the screws went in. The control knob’s part also has chips on the edges. There are several scratches in various places on metal parts, almost as if someone else once tried to assemble it.

This little guy is quite the warmer and looks fantastic next to our Jacuzzi.

Was a bit tough to assemble but when it was finally done, found it to be pretty amazing and easy to use. Staring into the flame is quite mesmerizing. This is so convenient, it has obsoleted my solo stove.

This is the best fire pit around. The amount of heat it gives off is just what we needed on our back patio. Make toasting marshmallows so much easier than the traditional top fire pits. As far as the reviews of people saying it was hard to put together, I am a mom and had my two year old son running around and it still only took me 1 hour to assemble. It was super easy. Loved how the instructions were easy to understand and every screw was labeled. Highly recommend this fire pit. If i had to list one con someone could have it would be there is no saftey screen and it may pose a danger to unattended little ones. As long as the kiddos are being watched and are not sticking their hands in the fire, there is no cons in my opinion.
