Several batches out--all producing great quality ice cream. If you are looking to make large batches for big groups, this is NOT the ice cream maker for you as the capacity is fairly small. That being said, with the compressor, can run a larger batch in two parts and end up with a consistently high-quality product.

The Cuisinart ICE-100 is a good ice cream maker. I've noticed through various batches that the quality of the ice cream really hinges on the ingredients and recipe. If you use average ingredients and a basic recipe you will get ok ice cream. If you use good ingredients and a more advanced recipe you can get some really great ice cream. The ice cream comes out really soft right after churning - but that was the expectation going into this purchase. It still tastes good, but I don't mind having to stick the results in the freezer for a bit to get a more desirable consistency. My only criticism which keeps this from being rated higher is that the bowl isn't dishwasher safe. I hate having to wash it between every use by hand.

Guys, I got this for father day and the 4th was may day to use it. This thing rocks! but it also sucks! The ice maker works great but the lid cracked and pieces of the plastic was found in the ice cream by friends and family during the 4th. The crazy thing is that I can t return it since the last day to return was on the 3rd... of July.. I reached out to Cuisinart and they said it will be 10 weeks. Wow!!! Just a word of caution!!! The unit works great it make roughly three bowls of ice cream within 45 mins. But keep you eye on the lid.... EnJoY

Love the machine and it is easy to use but it is wickedly loud.

Ok, I love this thing! It is so nice not to have to refreeze a bowl for an entire day between batches. Just know that most recipes require you to pre-chill some of the ingredients but it takes nothing to keep a few mixed batches in the fridge and then knock out a few flavor. I just wish threre was an easier way to get the gelato out of the pan.

I will never buy any Store Ice Cream again. It makes the best , any flavor i want! Bigger family may need 2 of them.

This works great and I really enjoy making my own ice cream. Literally the only issue I have with it is it’s pretty heavy. Makes storage a little awkward but it’s worth it.

I absolutely love this machine. Goes from hours the old school bucket way to 1 1/2 total time. Ive used mine over a dozen times.
