I'm not one to write a bad review unless I'm really disappointed in something. That said... I feel like this purchase was a HUGE waste of my money. I have had this for a year now and I use to really like Cyberlink's software, but can assure you I will not buy another product from them. It has crashed multiple times on me under different situations. (Usually while adding finishing touches) More than once I've loaded a working project to find many blank clips in the storyboard timeline. I'm talking completely empty of video and audio clips and you can't fix it by selecting the good clips and moving them all at once to before or after these empty spaces, you have to move every clip one at a time. I could go on for a long time listing the issues I've found with this software but won't. Bottom line, it's ok for simple cutting and merging but even things that should be simple tasks seem ridiculously complicated and there a so many thing even a cheap editor should be able to do that this doesn't.

Not sure yet, too hard for me, but my soon will probably get it and explain it to me.

Tried to use this to edit a go pro, but just kept running into compatibility and editing issues. Probably good for someone with knowledge of these types of programs, but definitely not for a beginner.

Yes it will edit video. However the edited video is now a locked version that only that software can open. Not what I was looking for.

I bought this program to edit my daughters soccer games. It is easy to use and i have been using it for years
