I needed to replace an old battery backup for my desk tower and related equipment. I have had this basic product before and have found it to be reliable and easy to set up. Good battery backup for anyone looking for this type of device. FYI: I found many years ago that the electrical outlet I use for my computer DOES NOT provide a steady flow of electric current and that use to cause problems for my system. The battery backup keep the flow of electric to my system flowing at a constant pace, making everything work well.

I recently purchased the CyberPower - 1000VA Battery Back-Up System at my local BestBuy and I'm incredibly impressed with its performance. Previously, power outages were a major concern, especially for my computer and entertainment system. I am a creator and sometimes I’m working on an Important music project. This battery backup system has given me peace of mind knowing my electronics are protected from sudden surges and blackouts so I don’t lose what I’m working on and gives me time to save my work. Here's what I particularly like about the system: Reliable Power Backup: During a recent power outage, the CyberPower system seamlessly kicked in and provided enough juice to keep my computer running long enough to safely shut down. It also powered my internet router for a while, allowing me to stay connected to the web. Easy Setup: Setting up the system was a breeze. The instructions were clear and straightforward, and I had it up and running in no time. Literally. Compact Design: The unit is surprisingly compact and doesn't take up much space. It fits perfectly under my desk without being an eyesore.

I’m so glad I purchased this. I recently had a power outage that lasted about an hour. I have my cable modem, desktop, printer, and monitors connected to this product. When the power went out, I was able to continue working with no issue.

Great battery backup/surge protector for desktop pc. I also have my 55” tv, PS4 and controllers charging station plugged in. If the power goes out it beeps to let you know it’s running on battery power. Beep alarm can be disabled in settings. It gives you enough time to save anything you’re doing on your computer and safely turn it off.

This is a great entry-level UPS backup battery, we primarily use it for main Starlink Router when power goes out which it has already. The Ring Security System is also a must for any UPS but this UPS backup battery does the job. The usb ports are not needed for us but is an added bonus! Cheers!

This is my second CyberPower 1000VA Battery Back-Up System because I love the other one I have which has protected my online teaching from the times when the power flickered during storms. I'm putting some other equipment in another room and decided to get the same model because it's easy to set up and has great placement of plugs and plug sizes.

This UPS Battery backup is awesome, I live in Cary NC, and almost every time it rains, there is thunderstorms, and the electricity flickers, I hate it a lot because sometimes I have my Xbox On, so now I connect my TV and Xbox, and I have no fear that something might happen, to my gadgets any more.

So far so good. I use this for back up power to my VZ Fios internet & TV. This powers the ONT. When I tested it out it lasted 3hrs powering it as well as the powered coax splitter amplifier.

This unit is just what I needed for power outage during storms. When power was out it kept my modem and router functional and we never missed a beat with isp service while it was functional.

I used to have a 450VA for my desktop but it wasn't sufficient for the need so I upgraded to 1000VA. This UPS has back mount holes so it's very convenient to hide.

Pros: - easy to setup - plenty of outlets - has run without problems for the 6 weeks since I got it - price and capacity make it a decent mid-range option for home use - LCD panel provides (among other info) the power draw of things plugged in and estimate of how long the battery can power them at that load and its current charge. This is nice as it gives me most of what I want to know without having to mess with setting up the USB management software. Cons: - no RJ45 if you're into that sort of thing (although there is RJ11 to protect a phone line)

I purchased this to protect my new computer from power surges and/or power outages. Easy to set-up. Plenty of plugs. I probably won't use the software that you can download from the website - I am just not that "techie". Seems to work fine but can't really tell as no power fluctuations have occurred yet. Purchased on sale at a good price for the 1000VA of protection. I bought this brand instead of APC as the last battery back-up I had from them lasted only months before it started doing weird things and I had to get rid of it. So far, so good on this one.

for starters, people have to understand whatever the time says on any of these, you will more than likely not get that actual time. so when buying, always buy one with a little more "duration" than you want. more devices hooked up, and bigger ones, require more power to operate, 2+2 actually does equal 4. love this though, knew it was big, figured i would make it work, i did, you want a backup, expect it. have everything in my room that is essential during an outage plugged into the backup part, and normal stuff plugged into the standard plug in part. thought that was kind of cool also need to understand what AVR means, and this being a device to "clean" the straggly, dirty, wavy, electricity coming from outside, works awesome. that's the point of it after all. so now with better more stable current to my devices i know i am getting the right flow and i have some heavy things in here.

Great for my WFH setup, I can plug in my router and work computer and all my other essentials into the battery backup outlets to prevent power loss while I’m working and all the outlets are surge protectors so I don’t have to worry about frying my expensive electronics. I’ve had the power go out twice since I purchased it and my work went completely uninterrupted, the battery backup took over immediately without causing any of my tech to shut down. Just make sure you turn off the sound on it so it doesn’t keep beeping when you’re on battery power bc it will get annoying real quick.

I have been using these battery backups for a long time. I like that this one is small enough that you can still hide it in a cabinet or behind a entertainment center. Battery holds long time. I also like that there is a display that tells you all the information and status of this battery pack.

My old UPS device finally went bad after years of use, so I needed a new one. My old CyberPower lasted for years, so I purchased this one. It does everything I need it too and has been working flawlessly for almost 4 months now. There's bigger, and more expensive units out there, but if all you're backing up is a desktop computer, monitor and some peripherals (like an external HD), this will work perfectly for you. Cheaper (smaller) models might not be able to handle as much.
