Easy to set up. The app is very user friendly. To my surprise you even have an option to turn on each individual outlet. Works great.

Easy to setup. I did the seamless setup through google home and learned its best to use the Cync app as you can then setup both the right and left side of the plug. I ended up using it for roof and spotlight Christmas lights. Works great.

I’ve been using the GE Cync Outdoor Smart Plug for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations. Setup was quick and easy through the app, and pairing with Alexa took less than five minutes. I especially love being able to control my outdoor lights with just a voice command or even while away from home. The plug feels durable and weather-resistant, which is a must for outdoor use. The dual-outlet design is convenient, allowing me to manage holiday lights and a fountain simultaneously without needing extra extension cords. The scheduling and automation options in the app are also a big plus – I set my lights to turn on at sunset and off at midnight automatically. One small note: the plug is a bit bulky, so if your outlet has a cover, make sure it fits. Other than that, everything has worked flawlessly. If you’re looking for a reliable, smart, and easy-to-use outdoor plug, this one is a fantastic choice. It’s made my backyard setup more convenient and fun to manage.

Worked great for my use. I connected to an AC i needed to control when I wasn't home and it worked fine. There was one time it had disconnected and i had to reconnect once I was home but besides that hiccup really nice product.

This was very effective for a lighting project on my deck. With two separately controllable outlets and simple integration with both my other Cync controls and my Google Home controls, putting it in place was quick and easy. Now I can turn the lights on and off from my phone, my Google Home, or even by voice. Simple and effective!

I needed a remote plug for lighting on a boat dock. Had tried a standard smart plug-in but had connectivity issues. Researched the Cync outdoor smart plug and ordered online. Received it on schedule and tied it into the house service on the dock. Works well within the wifi network on the property and I do not have intermittent connectivity issues like we did with the standard smart plug. The updated Cync app works with Google Home as advertised. I would recommend to anyone needing a reliable outdoor plug solution.

We wanted and easy way to turn off and on the string lights providing ambience on our screened porch. Climbing behind the furniture to access the covered outlet has gotten old. We have several “smart” lights and outlets of various brands in our home, but this is the first for an outdoor application. It was among the easiest and fastest to get on our wi-fi and it has functioned flawlessly with Alexa since set up. Like the option to control the two outlets separately. The best is no longer having to manually plug and unplug the lights!

This smart plug was easy to set up using Alexa and is also compatible with Google Home. The QR codes are ridiculously small in order to scan to set up for  Home, and I never could set it up. But overall, the plug does what it is meant to do and is easy to set up

Works well and easy to use, imagine you could use this on your mobile phone to turn on and off while you are away specially during Christmas seasons for Christmas lights and other decorations.

This is a great product. Our patio/pool contractor overlooked an electrical issue and we had to have the electrician rectify by adding an outlet for low voltage wires for our water feature behind the patio fireplace and we were told by the contractor that we’d need to go behind the fireplace to plug-in and unplug the water feature when we wanted to use it. Just dumb. Anyway, we purchased this smart plug and it is really nice. Installed with no problem, easy to use and notifies us when the wi-fi signal is weak. Glad we found this on bestbuy.com

Worked as advertised. Some trouble with programming automatic on/off times, it isn’t understanding the turn on at sunset timing. Even though I programmed my zip code. But it works great with our Google Home unit for voice activation.

This works great with Google home but sometimes it drops from the wifi. I suspect it is due to being on a mesh network and not liking that. I did separate the frequency channel so it is connected to a 2.4ghz frequency and that helped a little preventing it from dropping daily to every two months. I like the fact I can create routines for each outlet or group both outlets together for one routine. It works better with Google home versus the GE app.

These are great outdoor plugs. I use them for controlling holiday decor as well as everyday outdoor porch lamps. Adds some extra level of security as I can light porches on a schedule to discourage porch pirates and other problems. They pair very easily with google home.

I needed to be able to turn my Christmas lights on from the inside of the house, plus off. Of course. This did the trick. The app was a little bit awkward, but relatively simple to set up.

Using outside to turn on and off decorations at certain times. East to connect with Alexa and have it timed or work with voice control.
