[Employee of bestbuy] At first i was extremely skeptical about this product because of heating circulation for the power supply being inside the box but my worries were erased the moment i seen circulation holes on the box. This product is perfect for less clutter and for people with ocd like me who cannot stand the sight of too much clutter, this nifty item helps you keep plugs nice and tidy.

I live in an old house with old outlets, so I use surge strips just about everywhere because their plugs are strong enough to stay on and not wobble off. Organizing the cables connected to the surge protector has been my next project as I only had one box prior to this one but wanted to find a better one for the rest of the house’s cord messes. This D-Line cord organizer box is perfect! It is sleek, has holes that allow the electrical heat to escape, and the lid clicks on tight. I used it for a small extension strip in my kids’ room as that was my first priority. It immediately made their room look tidier and now there is less to worry about because the strip isn’t just out in the open posing a safety hazard. My box did come with some odd grime imprinted inside it. It was perfectly packaged and seemed brand new, so I surmise it must be residue it acquired from the factory, but I did find it unappealing. It cleaned off easily with a disinfecting wipe at least. The box has large holes on both sides plus a really large one on the side for cords to come out of and to help easily pop off the lid. It is deep for tall plugs to fit adequately inside. Overall, I like the quality of this box and will be looking into D-Line’s other cord organization products as I can see they have a lot to offer and my tech heavy household could benefit from this.

Located in my home office, it is so intuitive to set up: first place a 6-Outlet Strip in the box. The smart design becomes immediately obvious, as vertical slots are perfectly placed at both ends. This allows any 6-Outlet Strip to fit flush at the bottom center of the box, with the power cord able to exit either end. A generous sized curved opening is located halfway between the 2 vertical slots. This allows for numerous power cables, HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, even Christmas Tree light cords to exit the box in an organized manner. The D-Line Small Cable Organizer Box measures 12.75" L x 5" W x 4.5" H & is offered in black or white. A larger Organizer Box is available, but this small box accommodated my needs perfectly, taking up a minimum of floor space. CONCLUSION: The D-Line Small Cable Organizer Box is a brilliantly engineered solution to wire clutter & earns my highest recommendation.

The main benefit of this product is to conceal a surge protector and power adapters from view. If you have an area of your home where concealing cables is a priority, then the box will be perfect for that application. The dimensions of the box is 12.75 inches long by 5 inches wide by 4.5 inches high. The interior of the box will accommodate a surge protector that is up to 11 inches long. If your surge protector is longer or wider than this size box will not work for you. The box has a stylish curved design that will blend nicely into most decors. So instead of having a surge protector sitting on the floor or on a cabinet or desk, you will have a nice looking storage box. The box has ventilation slots so the power adapter wont overheat. These rear slots are also used to thread the power cords through. The box lid is secured to the main box by slots. To open the box pull the corner tabs out slightly and push the lid up. The lid is then pushed back in and you will hear the clicks when it is properly reattached. The box is an excellent value and is very useful for its intended application. I will likely buy a few more to use in other areas.

Didn’t realize I needed this D-Line cable management tool. This item was a great addition for my work area. I had space for my feet to sit around, but I knew i was still cluttered, so I was still subconsciously making sure my feet didn’t hit plugs or get tangled in wires, which could lead my feet with yanking something out. It can handle most outlet plugs and thanks to the openings, it makes it easier to stretch cords around. For my space, the cords I have are thicker than some average, so I could not put the top cover/lid on, but that is ok because it gave me more room to plug more items. With some cable ties and this product combine, u cannot go wrong with a cleaner and organized look for your office area or entertainment center. Not too much of a negative but even with the openings for the cords that I mentioned earlier, the longer outlets will not sit straight but it will not hinder the purpose of the cable organizer. The color blends in well and it also doesn’t take up space. Feels good to stretch my legs now and not worry lol
