My $20 camera was better than this 1~ so if U don’t plan on subscribing to the Cloud w/ your purchase ~then don’t buy this camera. I hate it!

Easy setup through the new MyDLink app... using Samsung galaxy s7... doesn't work with older dlink lite app... new app is geared toward home automation with dlinks smart plugs and sensors etc... if you log in to dlinks website this camera doesn't show up as in your devices... in fact, this camera didn't even show up in their products... must be to new...as for the camera, image is great with 180 degree viewing ... for some reason I can't get the app to show 1080i... only 720p... when I click on 1080i it just spins... instructions for getting the camera up and running were fine but getting the motion detection set up wasn't so clear and took some doing... you have to go into the app to "automation" and set up triggers ie...sound or motion or both. It has a sdcard slot but i haven't been able to get it to record to it. Instead they offer 1 day of cloud recording for free which i chose and has been working fine for 2 days now which is all I need so I haven't tried to trouble shoot sdcard... overall happy with this camera

This camera is a great value for its quality. The picture is very clear and it has an adjustable sensitivity setting so you don't constantly get notifications from things you're not concerned about. You just have to play around with the settings a bit to get the proper results. I'm using it as an surveillance camera for our front porch area. We have a couple of home hubs with video streaming capabilities, so it's great to be able to see the camera feed on them whenever needed. Night vision works great, but not if the camera is placed facing out a window. It can be turned off manually in the app if using to monitor through windows. The infrared lights reflect off the windows causing the camera to pick the lights up and very little else. But using the night vision in other instances works great! We just use the 24 hour free cloud recording or the SD card feature. Both cannot be used at the same time though. The camera has a bit of bubble distortion, but nothing that is too annoying. I really love it's range both in distance and in angle capability. I would definitely recommend it.

Easy setup with Android phone. Pretty reliable. The sensitivity is a bit hard to get right, but overall it does well for a low cost solution. The only negative is that I've lost two to electrical storms/static. I have dozens of high-tech devices throughout my house but unfortunately I have lost two of these due to power surges. Now.... I know I really shouldn't blame the D-Link camera, but no other device in my house was negatively impacted.

Bought it to have an my eye on my son (who has epilepsy) when I am not in his room. The picture is very clear. Love the two way communication. The app is easy-to-use. Very easy to install. Veru happy with this product.

We bought this to watch our animals while we were away on vacation. It works very nicely. We were able to see what was going on while we were away. The picture was clear, the night vision was good. It has a microphone and speakers so we could talk to the animals while we were gone.

This is a great basic camera to watch your pets while you're away from home. The two way audio works well and the camera is super easy to set up. It is controlled from your smartphone with an app which also seems to work well. It will send notifications when the camera detects motions so you can catch your pet in the act before they destroy your shoe. The only down side is you can hear some sort of feed back on your phone when listening in and the camera can be laggy at times. Overall a solid camera at a good price.

Image Quality is good and was easy to setup. However it started to get really hot about after a month of use. Then its started to frequently restart. We turned it off in fear of it catching on fire.

I was surprised initially that the reviews on this device were so low. However, after trying the camera for about three months I never had any issues. The quality is clear, the audio quality is great too. Not sure why others would spend so much on other cameras. Great for the price point and easy to set up.

This little camera does have great video, night and day, the fisheye look isn't distracting but it's there. The phone app could use some refining, kind of a pain to set up. It does what it's suppose to do and I would recommend it.

After having a Samsung SNH-P6410BN SmartCam HD Pro 1080p WiFi IP Camera, that they are not supporting very well if at all anymore and certainly not on Alexa unless it's one of their new models, I decided to shop for a replacement. The setup for this D-link security was not very smooth due to having issues connecting properly. I have a very good internet setup with Netgear Orbi and there is not a dead spot in the house. After some glitches I did finally get it hooked up over 2 hours later. The bottom line on this one is with the video quality. During good lighting the video looks Ok at best even at 1080P. It didn't look as crisp and even a bit blurry when comopared to my Samsung 1080P Security Camera. It looked like 720 was blurry and in low light, it did not pick up nearly as much as my Samsung. Returned it due to very shaky video. I adjusted the settings several times, it's just the camera. The Dlink screen shot of the video is the much darker one, same conditions.

The setup was painless and the app is better than the original DLink Lite. It connects fast and I have fewer false activations. I like the fish eye perspective. I used to need two came to cover blindspots in the room, however this one can cover over 90% of it.

Before my husband purchased this, my step daughter was playing mind games with her cat. Putting its foot prints on the dining room table, just one or two, here and there. Now that's a talented cat. After we got it, she stopped. It was a nice end to a ridiculous power struggle.

Cameras work great and are easy to set up. Comes with free 1 day cloud storage for up to 3 cameras. Longer cloud storage can be purchased for a very reasonable price.
