The overriding plot is the relationship between politically powerfully connected super lawyer Patty (Glenn Close) and her young, novice lawyer employee Ellen (Rose Byrne). In the first 2 and 1/2 seasons I've viewed so far, Patty ruthlessly exploits and manipulates everyone, including Ellen, for Patty's own benefit or for projects Patty favors. But Ellen's catching on and becoming as manipulative as Patty. It's a great, addictive series about strong willed women matching wits.

I did not watch this show when it aired. I heard positive reviews about it and bought the complete series. It is a well written and acted show. I highly recommend it.

Glenn Close was so good in this role. Show looks fantastic in blu ray and under one case for all seasons one of the best legal shows to come along in a long time.

Damages is truly one of the best dramas of all time. Rose Byrne and Glenn Close are just magical playing against each other, with a superb supporting cast as well.

Stuck at a house with no tv or internet. Bought a dvd player and this set. Saved my sanity.

I brought the complete series in Blu-Ray. Have almost watched non-stop.

Haven’t watched yet but I’m a big fan of fx series and I’m sure this won’t disappoint
