I really enjoyed playing Dead Island 1 back in the day, so I was excited for the sequel. This game has the same zombie killing action as the original. The dialogue and story are interesting, but the gameplay hasn’t evolved much. I like the setting of being in LA and think it adds to the experience. Each of the zones in the game world are unique and well crafted. However, I wish that zombies didn’t respawn even when you are within the same zone.

Awesome addition to the dead island series. The combat is fun (especially when you can drop kick zombies). Weapon crafting is so so. The only bad part is the fact it tries to make it seem open world. If they actually went that route it would've been better.

The game was pretty fun. The story line and combat was entertaining

I love the game. Storyline is really cool and its a fun game to play. Some serious jump scares when its night time.

DI 2 is a fine game. Not great but the graphics and sound are pretty good. The control could be a little snappier but a better game than part 1.

The game is fun 8/10 but buying digital from best buy was hell to deal with, code didn't work for first 24hrs of buying it... BB support couldn't help me and MS couldn't either, was just a guessing game when my code would work, will not buy digital codes again from BB

I have talked to Microsoft about the issue and it has informed me that it is aware of the issue and are working with the publisher to fix the issue.

They send you codes that don’t work, if you want to buy this game buy it from Xbox or a physical disk.

Do not buy this game. The game is awful. The story is so bland it isn't even interesting. If you removed all of the wild goose chases to collect this, that, or the other you might have about 6-8 hours of actual gameplay. I finished the game at level 23 out of whatever max level is. The game is full of glitches and you'll be hit by zombies behind you looking the other way. It freezes quite often. The characters are basically all the same except for their crappy dialogue and negligible attributes. This is not a $70 game. It's not a $20 game. This should have been a freemium game from the release. At least then your $70 would go towards improving the experience.

The bug from all the reviews has been fixed and it works fine
