BUT... unless they are a very specific size (that your phone won't create and none of your current pictures will be), the Frame TV resizes the pictures and adds a ridiculously large matte that you cannot remove which ruins the purpose of the Frame TV. The result is instead of looking like an actual picture in a frame on the wall, it looks like a screensaver on a giant computer monitor.

Q: does this block the motion sensor?
A: It absolutely blocks the light/motion sensor. The prior answer saying it doesn't is incorrect. As a result, the feature that turns on the frame when a light is turned on or when there is motion detected doesn't function. Likewise, the feature that turns the frame off when the room goes dark or there is no motion for a period of time doesn't work. I would not have bought this frame had I known that.
