Absolutely great speaker for the price which is more than half off the $800 MSRP. Open box like new condition for 350$. Speaker is fairly large and heavy but clear dialogue and fairly good base with the LFE cable attached along with the speaker wire.

Upgraded my center channel from a pro series 600 and WOW!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Bass and Crystal clear sound in one package!!! A must buy!!

It was time for me to upgrade my surround sound speakers. Dont want to spend a lot of money but I want a good, clear and quality Center speaker, with a good amount of bass, since this is where the sound will be coming from while watching movies. This definitely surprised me. When I went to BB Magnolia, they have it on display and tried it. It was music to my ears. The bass was there. I can hear the clear voices and different sounds. This center speaker is heavy. It has a subwoofer built it. You wont be disappointed when you buy this speaker.

This center speaker is one of a kind.to have sub woofer is great. Best sound in my listening experience. I now have 3 of this one for each soround system in m home. Yes this center speaker makes a big difference. Great sound .

Amazing sound! I've have had a few nice sets of speakers over time, Infinity's, Klipsch Reference, etc. But, imho none of them have created such a complete sound stage for the money. This center paired with the matching Left and Right towers, each having thier own bult in sub creates a very immersive front stage. Also, snagged these on closeout for a great deal but would not have been upset if i paid full price. They make for a great goem movet experience.

The past couple of years i have Be using B&W speakers which sound great, but after hearing the defectives its night and day difference. More open sound, less power need to drive

There are some very good center channels to choose from, and this is not to downgrade any of them. But this is by far the best channel center speaker I have heard. As I do with anything you should listen for yourself and take the time as this should last a long time. DefTech has always put together some outstanding products. Price is always a concern for most, including me, but I am glad I bought this. I will say that it is best to run other DefTech equipment like the BP towers, as DefTech already sets up the balance between each speaker working together. Remember your ears are your perfect source for anything when it comes to speakers.

This is exactly what I wanted for a center channel in my custom home speaker setup. Awesome fidelity for dialogues and songs and with a strong in built top facing bass driver you wouldn't need a seperate Bass channel. Couldn't be more happier with the investment.

This is a very good sounding center channel, and designed to match Definitive's BP series floorstanding speakers. It is one of the only center channel speakers with a built-in powered so-called subwoofer, and is still similar in size to an average center. It does not have the low end output to replace a dedicated subwoofer in most home theater setups, unless the room is small. It does, however, provide good bass response to compliment the smaller woofers and tweeter so as not to distort the dynamic sounds (gunshots, explosions, etc.) that are directed to the center channel. The only issue I have with this speaker is if the 8" subwoofer is working really hard, you will hear some unwanted port noise. At least the slotted port is on the rear side.

I can't tell you how many center channels I have gone through that just didn't feel like they were "enough"... Maybe it was my decisions or maybe they just weren't the right fit for my setup but I just wasn't satisfied with any center I've ever bought. Until now. Maybe I'm partial to the brand, ok I definitely am partial to the brand but that's because this thing delivers. It's as if the speaking is right there in the room with you. And as loud as you feel it needs to be with no distortion. It's a perfect crossover balance from lows to highs that is incredibly impressive. It might be pricey but I highly recommend going for it rather than buying a different center every year just to try to get one that's a little better each time. You will not be disappointed with this center and you might just be buying the rest of your speakers to try to catch up to this one.

Dont skimp on a good quality center speaker. The sound of this Def Tech is amazing. Dialogue is concise and accurate. Other center channels I've owned made very little effort to not make everyone sound like a tenor! Extremely happy with my purchase.

This has been a game changer for the sound quality of the voices in surround sound. The bass is a nice extra. Looks great as well. Very solid.

Wow! I replaced my Pro 1000 center with this 9060 the 1000 is a very good center channel speaker but the defiance is unbelievable. I have always loved going to the movies and my job was building movie theaters. When I heard the 9060 it was the closest thing I have heard outside a theater. Yea it is pricey but your center is the work horse.
